My Impromptu Breakfast by @mexacliff
Good morning dear Steemians, am here to share my breakfast story. I actually prepared breakfast but at the long run it got finished and I had to look for an alternative for myself. I remembered I had Yam and ripe plantain at home, so I decided to fry. It wasn't part of my plan for the morning, hence the title: Impromptu Breakfast.
Recipes
Ripe plantain and Yam
2 Eggs (you can use more or less depending on the number of people eating)
Vegetable oil (Power oil) 1 sachet
I do use power oil because it is cholesterol free.
I peeled, washed and sliced the yam and plantain to a desired size.
I broke the eggs and poured it into a plate.
I added little salt and pepper to taste.
Then whisked it using a spoon.
My ingredients are ready.
I set my frying pan on fire after washing it. I allowed it on fire for few minutes so the heat from the cylinder will dry the water. If the pot is not dry, when oil is added it will sparkle and that's not nice.
The vegetable oil was added, allowed to heat and then add the yam and allow to fry.
Monitor and turn over when one side is done. Same was done with the plantain.
My plantain and Yam is ready.
Add the whisked egg to the oil and also turn over when done.
Breakfast is done.
I had to make tea to wash it done my throat. I used Nestle Milo and loya milk. The Loya milk was bought in sachet, so to preserve it, it was poured into an airtight container.
I sat on the floor so I can enjoy the meal.
It was yummy, I finished everything.
Thanks so much for going through my post. Try not to always miss breakfast. Thank you #steemfoods for always being there to support.
