Low-budget “Sweet & sour fish by magumicute1989

Hello everyone especially to the newbie like me,I just want to share what i cooked for my family today.My sister bought some fish in the market this morning and I feel like cooking a sweet and sour dish.I call it low budget because you can use any available fish in the market or in your refrigerator whether it’s fresh or left over fried fish.You can use it to make this dish and to share it with your family or friends.

The ingredients are;
Fresh fish or fried leftover fish
Garlic
Onion
Ginger
Bell pepper
Carrots
Pineapple canned (optional)
Ketchup/sweet &sour sauce
1 teaspoon of brown sugar
Salt & pepper to taste
Corn starch(to make the sauce sticky)

Let’s start cooking
Procedure
First:fried fish in a pot with cooking oil until golden brown,set aside.

In a separate pan,make the sauce by sautéing onion,garlic,and ginger.add white vinegar and water.let the mixture boil before adding the tomato ketchup or sweet and sour sauce.stir until well blended.add sugar and continue stirring until it dissolve into the mixture.Put the carrots ang bell pepper.Continue cooking for 3 minutes before adding the slurry(mixture of cornstarch and 3 tablespoons water)The slurry helps thicken the sauce.Season with salt and pepper.Put/combine the fried fish with the sauce and cook for a couple of minutes and ready to serve with your family..
