BANKU WITH OKRO SOUP BY @MASSACHUSSETS
Hello, lovely members of this esteemed community.
Before I start my business for today I will like to say a big Thank you to @alikoc07 @steemitfoods for their maximum support, also to @ngoenyi thank you for your good moderation and support.
Today I will like to share to all of us my recipe on my banku with okro soup I prepared.
Okro soup (African okra soup) is made with okra vegetables that have been simmered in a delicious mixture of palm oil,
smoked fish, beef meat, and African spices and many more.
*Okra: I used about 25 pieces of okra for this recipe, which equaled about 4 cups chopped. It doesn't have to be exact; you can estimate the volume by eyeballing the okra. But keep in mind that the more okra you use, the thicker the soup will be.
*Meats and fish: You can make this with any combination of meats or fish, but the cooking time will differ. Beef meat, smoked fish, fermented fish(momoni) were used. The more proteins you add, the more filling the soup becomes, as well as the chunkier it becomes. This is how I prefer it, but it is entirely up to you.
*Palm oil is best for African traditional soups, but if you don't have any, olive oil will suffice. Although the taste will not be identical, you will still have a tasty okro soup dish.

The preparation is as simple as ABCD and can be prepared by anyone.
LETS GET STARTED
Slice your okra into smaller pieces
soak your melon seeds in water
Slice your vergies
Get your meat ready to be steam with grounded garlic and onion with the onion leaves to serve as a flavor
Put your silver on heat an pour your palm oil and allow it to heat for sometime before adding your veggies and blended onion and garlic and pepper
Now blend the melon seeds you soaked earlier and pour into the palm sauce you were making and stir
Allow it to cook for about 15-20mins
Now get a new silver and pour some oil into it and fry your steamed meat
Get a silver again and pour water into it and add a cube of maggie into it and allow it to boil and little and then add your sliced okra
Stir continuous to avoid the okra from splashing
Allow it to cook for sometime like 15mins and now add it to the palm sauce you prepared earlier
Now you can some salt and maggie again if you wish and allow it to cook for about 20mins*
Soak the casava dough in water and put on fire
Continue to stir till you get a perfectly smooth texture
