Post Curation Guidelines by #Lifestyle Curation Team for August /2022 || Steemcor07 || #burnsteem25

in SteemFoods2 years ago (edited)

Hi, dear fellow Steemians!

First of all, I want to express my gratitude because our team has been given a new opportunity to work as Community Curators. This post is to inform you about how I’ll be working every Thursday as part of the Community Curator Program for the month of August SteemCor07 to curate posts involving #lifestyle, among others.

As you may already know, the Steemit Team has started an initiative to help the growth of Steemit users’ accounts through a strategy of wider and sustained curation which benefits more users every time: Community Curators. Our team got selected for July, a great chance to continue doing a good job just like the former team was doing.

Our goal is to support quality publications, which is a great opportunity for everyone producing content under the tags below, especially for newcomers, to make good publications, which we can make more visible to the community.

Important:

What has prevented you from curing a good post:

Sometimes I come across an excellent post. Then I must immediately check if the user complies with the rules of the Club they claim to belong to, and I must also check their CSI and see if they have been active commenting on the platform. Unfortunately, sometimes the user is not in good standing with the Club, has not made enough power-ups, or has been inactive, with CSI much lower than 5%.

Also, it is also important that the user identifies the source of the images in his post, which in turn must be copyright free.

Even if the images were photos taken with your cell phone, the user must indicate it.

Many users believe they can use a copyrighted image if they indicate the source. Well, indicating the source does not give us the right to take this image and present it on our blogs on a for-profit platform such as Steemit (i.e. with commercial purposes).

I have also been forced to skip a post because users have photos of minors on their post. We must be very careful with this. The laws of different countries protect children's right to preserve their own image, which prevents us from showing their faces not only on Steemit, but on our social networks, even if the purposes were educational.

Oh, last but not least: many times I can't vote for a Food Diary Game entry because there is practically no text in the post and/or there are very few photos, which are sometimes of poor quality. We must remember that diaries are for telling important events of the day; they are not catalogues.

I hope that bloggers will be motivated to follow the rules for a healthy development of the course of events for Steemit and the blockachain in general. The first thing is to maintain our blogs as optimally as possible; there goes an important part of our image, regardless of our time on the platform.

Thank you for reminding us about the #tags, its is good to know that our community posts will get support upon #food tag from your team

Indeed, the #food tag covers great posts, but many won't make it to curation because of not following the rules. Let us hope it changes this month! :)

Thank you for sharing with us friend. We hope for a successful month.
