How I prepared my special fisherman soup@kennie19
Hello Steemians, hope you all had a lovely day.
My gratitude goes to @alikoc07 and @steemfoods for this great platform. I am happy to be part of this platform.
On this note I'll be sharing how I prepared my mouth watering fisherman soup and I will also share the reason it is special.
Ingredients
*Fresh Catfish
*Banga/palmfruits
*Periwinkles
*Uziza
*Bitter leaves
*Ofor
*Habanero pepper
*Knorr Maggi
*Salt
*Onions
*crayfish
PROCEDURES
*First I washed the fresh catfish thoroughly to get rid of the slime, once that was done I put them in a cooking pot added pepper, 2cubes of Knorr Maggi, salt and onions. I poured in my blended habanero pepper to serve as water; it was more of water content (watery) and placed the cooking pot on a gas cooker to cook on a low heat for 20mins.
and thickener (ofor). I didn't add pepper this time because the blended pepper served. I covered the pot to boil and added the squashed bitter leaves. Cover it to boil for 20mins.
I added the bitter leave earlier to reduce the bitter taste of the leaves.
After that, I added my periwinkles allowed it to cook for 2mins, added my crayfish and uzizza leaves and my mouth watering catfish banga soup was ready
This soup is special because of the extracted palm fruits I used in cooking it, it was a substitute for processed palm oil sold in the local market, honestly the flavour it gave the soup was pleasurable and the taste was unique.
This soup can be eaten with any swallow of your choice, however I devoured mine with baked garri(eba).
Thank you for making out time to read through. sayonara @kennie19
