SteemFoods Restaurant ǀǀ Thai Food Taste

Hello steemit friends. How have you been doing? I wish you good health and happy hearts despite the universal crisis of pandemic we are going through.
Today I will be sharing with you one of our bonding moments with my close friend Michael. We are really food enthusiast. We love to resto-hop, trying different world cuisine in local restaurants nearby our place in Mactan. One of the food place we enjoy going to is Mercato de Mactan. It offers variety of food from different countries.

Last Thursday afternoon as we were heading home we drop by at this food place nearby which is Mercato de Mactan. There are a lot of food stalls which offers variety of food. Many to choose from. But this time we opted to try Thai food from Dee Soi Bangkok Street Food. This food stall offers variety of Thai food.

Thai food is known for its balance flavors in one dish. You can savor sweetness, spicyness, sourness and saltiness all in one dish. That’s how unique Thai food is. We ordered two of the best-selling food in this food stall, PAD THAI and KHAI THOT TAKHRAI and ofcoarse their all organic milktea which is the CHA NOM YEN.

For this food trip, we only spent Php 360.00 or $7.41. The price for PAD THAI is Php 145 or $2.99. The price for KHAI THOT TAKHRAI is Php 130 or $2.68. While the CHA NOM YEN milktea costs Php 85 or $1.75. Other foods that they offer more likely have the same prices. I would say their prices are affordable.

Tasting the food! Yes to Pad Thai. This dish is a stir-fry dish made with rice noodles, shrimp, chicken, or tofu, peanuts, a scrambled egg and bean sprouts. The ingredients are sautéed together in a wok and tossed in a delicious pad thai sauce. This is one of the famous dish in Thailand.

Khai Thot Takhrai is a Thai specialty consisting of fried chicken (usually wings or legs) that is served alongside with crispy lemongrass. The dish is typically made with the skin intact and (optionally) bone-in chicken pieces that are soaked in a marinade of lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, sugar, black pepper, salt, and sauces such as oyster sauce, soy sauce, or fish sauce.

Cha Nom Yen is a Thai milktea with black pearls. This is a classic tea. What is good about their milktea is that they use organic black tea. You can really taste the black tea. They do not use artificial sweetener. They only use milk as their sweetener. Truly it can quench your thirst without any guilt.

We really enjoyed the food. Thai food experience is the best specially when shared with your friends and loved ones. This is really a bonding moment for us. That's all for now my friends. I hope to see you again in my next food tasting adventures. Have a nice day.
