How are you today? Hoping you feel well. 2020 passed over, and 2021 is coming. Wishing all of you health, success, and happiness in the new year 2021.
After a long busy time, I have come back to my love community with a delicious sweet soup. It is a green bean and lotus seed sweet soup. I hope that the sweetness of this dessert will bring us a new year so sweet.
Now, let me show you how to cook this dessert?
1. INGREDIENTS:
- Green beans: 150g
- Fresh lotus seeds: 100g
- Cassava: 60g
- Pandan: 3pcs
- Sugar: 3 tbsp
- Salt: a little
- Water: 500ml
2. HOW TO COOK:
Step 1:
- Soaking green beans in warm water for 3 - 4 hours until smooth.
- Cleaning lotus seeds in the water.
- Boiling green beans and lotus seeds with a little salt on the stove until smooth. See the below photo to know the boiled status of them.
Step 2:
- Cleaning the pandan in the water
- Rolling and boiling pandan in the water for 10 minutes, then take it out of the pot. Adding sugar.
Step 3:
- Dissolving cassava with water then pouring it into the above pandan water's pot.
Step 4:
- Mixing green beans, lotus seeds with the above cassava water for about 2 minutes
Final Step:
- Garnishing the dessert and enjoying it. At the moment, the weather in my country is winter, so I enjoy this dessert when it was hot. You can eat it with the ice in the summer, but you should add more sugar to make it more delicious.
