Dubby's Restaurant Review || Ultimate Burger Experience with Deaf-mute Crew || October 20, 2021
Good day fellow steemians! How have you been? It’s been awhile since my last post here. But now, I’m back with another exciting story to feature.
Recently, me and my boyfriend visited a small restaurant in our area here in Mandaue City, Cebu. The restaurant is named Dubby’s. It is famous with its meaty and ultimate burgers.
But what surprised us the most is that the staffs of this restaurant are deaf-mute. It’s just so fascinating knowing that there are still some restaurants here in the Philippines that gives opportunities to differently abled individuals.
The place has a nice ambiance and looks like a humble abode. This is the exterior of the restaurant.
EXTERIOR
Inside, it is decorated with old car plate numbers. They also recycled a bicycle and used it as decoration. They also hanged pictures of the Philippine Dragon Boat Team because one of the owners of this restaurant is a member of the Dragon Boat Team.
INTERIOR
This is the menu of the restaurant. As you can see in the picture, it has simple tips written on the upper left corner of the menu for you to communicate with the crew.
MENU
You can order burgers, fries, nachos, and sandwiches separately. But if you crave both burgers and fries, they have combo meals on their menu which you can save from ordering these separately. They also offered rice meals as well as different flavors of chicken.
We ordered two combo meals, Set A. This includes single cheeseburger, regular fries, and canned softdrinks. We also ordered Thai Sweet Chilli Glaze.
Their ultimate cheesy burger is really yummy. You can feel the cheese and the meat in every bite. And the chicken? It’s a perfect combination of sweet and spicy but not too spicy. The French fries are also large, but not too salty, I’m a fan of salty food. I am still craving for their burgers and chicken. Give it a try, and you will ask for more.
We pay P610.00 for our food or $12 USD. Also, I want to go back to show my support to the crew. In fact, I am still keeping this paper with me. They gave us this as placemat, and I was fascinated because different sign languages are illustrated here for the customers to communicate with the staff and crew.
Thank you Dubby's! we really enjoyed our meal. Till next time!
Thank you for reading my blog!
