Presently looking back couple of months, I do consider we were a lot lucky having our trip to Thailand just before all the mess with Covid-19 just started.

You are also lucky to have enough money to be able to visit Thailand, Cambodia and other foreign countries. Many people cannot even afford to travel to these countries (or any foreign country). Visiting (especially distant) foreign countries is mostly expensive. And some people are poor enough to be lucky to be able to visit even their own country.
