The San Gabriel river mouth area

I never really know how to show this area. It's at the Beach in Southern California. Paradise right? Well not exactly. Yes there is a beach. Yes you can surf, swim, kayak, sail, and lay out and make sand castles.

The weather is warmish/coolish comfortable most of the time. No snow, very little rain. It gets uncomfortably hot sometimes. More than it used to. If you have a nice home with some yard and plants and trees and flowers it's pretty good. Yeah not bad at all. If you are a renter? Well that can be ok if you have great credit, a good job, and savings in the bank. If not? Be ready for noisy, hot, uncertain tenancy. No place to park and low social standing in the city and community. Hmmm. It gets really windy at times as well. Sand blasting windy! Haha. The ocean is often unsafe due to pollution. It's never entirely clean because of the offshore oil wells and dozens of HUGE container freight ships offshore. Well there you go. There are some places, some homes I would like to own. It could be a lot nicer. And it was in them olden days... when there were several million less people in the general So Cal area.
