Try getting his hearing checked and also try to teach him sign language. Also always make eye contact with him when speaking, so you can determine by his facial expressions if he is actually hearing you. For example, say something funny and if he smiles you know he can understand you. I had an uncle who was 80% deaf, and it wasnt discovered until he was 12. After he was fitted with hearting aids, we couldnt shut him up. I pray that your sons issues become resolved
