Today I am not here to show you a tutorial or a step-by-step approach, I am here to show you an object that I made some time ago for my son, who is a big fan games of ZELDA, and although he is fascinated by everything related to this world, it is not easy to give him gifts related to the game since they are quite expensive in these parts of the world. But today when we were cleaning the room, we saw the sword hanging next to his Wii and I wanted to share it with all of you.

Hoy no vengo a mostrar ni tutorial ni un paso a paso, solo les vengo a mostrar un objeto que realice hace algún tiempo atrás para mi hijo, el cual es un Gran fanático de los juegos de ZELDA, y aunque le fascina todo lo relacionado con este mundo, no es fácil hacerle regalos relacionados al juego ya que son bastante costosos por estos confines de la tierra. El caso es que hoy mientras limpiábamos el cuarto vimos la espada guindada junto a su Wii y quise compartirla con todos ustedes.

And with that thought I began to look for in my workshop (the corridor of the house XD) objects that would allow me to make the most important sword of all the Sagas (if... they noticed it also I like the game of Zelda) the Famous "Master Sword" and although I obtained feasible materials for the project, it was not easy its execution, since it did not have a guide of how the sword is. That's when I go with the one who gets everything... "Google"... And with an image from here and another from there, I put together my own version.

Y con ese pensar me puse a buscar en mi taller (el pasillo de la casa XD) objetos que me permitieran realizarle la espada más importante de todas las Sagas (si… lo notaron también me gusta el juego de Zelda) la Famosa “Espada Maestra” y aunque conseguí materiales factibles para el proyecto, no fue fácil su ejecución, ya que no contaba con una guía de cómo es la espada. Es entonces que voy con quien todo lo consigue…. “Google”…. Y con una imagen de acá y otra de por allá, arme mi propia versión.

Y así quedo

I don't deny that it was a bit frustrating because I don't have many mechanical tools and I have to do a lot of manual work, but in my opinion and considering that it was my first sword, it looked pretty good. The materials I used were: wood, plastic (from a PVC tube) melted for what is like a round guard, two pieces of MDF for the guard (the wings on the XD sides), pieces of plastic for the jewelry that the sword has and for the finish I used cold paint and wood varnish to preserve it as best as possible.

No lo niego fue un poco frustrante ya que no cuento con muchas herramientas mecánicas y me toco hacer muchísimo trabajo manual, pero a mi parecer y teniendo en cuenta que fue mi primera espada quedo bastante bien. Los materiales que utilice fueron: madera, plástico (de un tubo de PVC) derretido para lo que es como una guarda redonda, dos pedacitos de MDF para la guarda (las alas que tiene a los lados XD) , pedacitos de plásticos para las joyas que posee la espada y para el acabado use pintura al frio y barniz de madera para conservarla lo mejor posible.
