Donuts

Hola. En esta ocasión hice donas para que mi familia tuviera una merienda deliciosa. Esta receta lleva un poquito de tiempo prepararla.

Hello, hivers. This time I made donuts so my family have a delicious snack. This recipe takes a little time to prepare.

Empezamos agregando 2 tazas de harina de trigo.

We start by adding 2 cups of wheat flour.

Procederemos agregando 70 ml de leche tibia.

We will proceed by adding 70 ml of warm milk.

También agregamos 45 ml de agua tibia.

We also add 45 ml of warm water.

Aquí pueden agregar la levadura, yo tengo una harina especial por lo que no le agregué.

Here you can add the yeast, I have a special flour so I did not add it.

Agregamos 25 gramos de azúcar.

We add 25 grams of sugar.

Agregamos un huevo.

We add an egg.

Es preferible batir el huevo antes de agregarlo.

It is preferable to beat the egg before adding it.

Agreguen también vainilla y empezamos a mezclar todo.

Add vanilla and we start to mix everything.

Cuando se haya integrando un poco la mezcla agregaremos 25 gramos de mantequilla.

When the mixture has been integrating a little we will add 25 grams of butter.

Y comenzamos a amasar, lo pueden hacer en el bol o en una mesa de trabajo, esto lo haremos por varios minutos hasta que la masa ya no se pegue de nuestros dedos y no tenga grumos.

And we begin to knead, you can do it in the bowl or on a work table, we will do this for several minutes until the dough no longer sticks to our fingers and it does not have lumps.

Ahora procedemos a dejarla reposar por dos horas.

Now we proceed to let it rest for two hours.

Una vez transcurrido el tiempo es momento extender la masa con un rodillo.

Once the time has passed, it is time to roll out the dough.

Ahora solamente usamos un cortador pero si no tienen pueden usar un vaso redondo. Sí quieren hacerle el agujero en el centro entonces usen una tapa de un refresco o de alguna botella de agua.

Now we only use a cutter but if you don't have it you can use a round glass. If you want to make the hole in the center, then use a lid of a soda or from a bottle of water.

Calentamos aceite en una olla, debe estar bien caliente e introducimos nuestras donas.

We heat oil in a pot, it must be very hot and we introduce our donuts.

Yo lo hice a fuego medio, y la cocción es bastante rápida así que si volteas la mirada se queman.

I did it over medium heat, and the cooking is quite fast so if you turn your eyes it will burn.

Yo quise hacer unas rellenas por dentro, entonces utilicé un artefacto que me permitiera agujerar la dona para rellenarla con dulce de leche (arequipe) y decorarla con coco.
