Hello friends! With this post I make my official entry to the eighth edition of this contest that reaches us thanks to the users @nelyp and @appreciator. This time the gallery that I share with you is titled "Quarantine in my City" ...

It is no secret to anyone that the world is going through a time of great tension with the Covid-19 pandemic and despite the quarantine, many people still have the obligation to work, since we belong to the food industry.

This first photograph was taken in Plaza Brion de Chacaito in Caracas, Venezuela, one of the most popular places in the capital, and as you can see, people are not really going out. But it never ceases to amaze me to see this important avenue without cars or people for the first time in my life.

This photo gallery was born out of the need to register my beloved city of Caracas, which this week resembles a post apocalyptic world due to this quarantine. It is incredible to see the streets empty and it may not happen again for much longer. I captured the images traveling on public transport.

In this third image of the gallery, we can see Libertador Avenue in Caracas, one of the main land routes of the city, since it connects the Libertador and Chacao municipalities. You can see few vehicles where there is normally a lot of traffic at the time I took the photo, 5:00 p.m.

Another of my great impressions this week, and that I will never forget is to go out and see 90% of the people who use the mask or mouthpiece in them. It makes me feel safe and insecure at the same time, since using them helps prevent, but they remind you that there is an invisible threat to your health and your life...

Despite the risk and concern, it makes me happy to go out to work and know that I am one of the few people in charge of providing food to people. I always go out under the blessing of God and this will be one more experience that will nurture my life and spirituality.
