They are usually grown in nurseries, although they can be sown directly in the ground. They are a source of vitamin C. The plant needs sufficient water, especially in tropical climates like ours. They can bear fruit all year round. It is also advisable to fumigate them at least twice a year, because ants and mites damage them. It is a curious plant because usually the lemon plant is very large, it has to grow, flower and bear fruit, but this dwarf plant bears fruit in a basin, it does not grow much but it bears a lot of fruit.
