How does Sochi differ from other cities
I passed by one house and realized that the difference from other cities in Russia is significant, although initially it seems inconspicuous.
Now we will not talk about the fact that in one place there are both the sea and mountains and rivers, the beauty of which is incredible. No, and not about high vacation prices, hotels, etc.
Having lived in Sochi for more than one year, you notice something that visitors do not pay attention to.
The tightness of buildings.
It certainly exists in every city, but turning off the main street into the courtyard, you can meet a wild violation of fire safety.

The first thing I saw surprised me, too. Yes, there are houses nearby, but the green vertical coating is still not clear to me why it was installed.)

By the way, air conditioners. Without them in the season, well, it's very difficult, so the houses look like this

Often in inexpensive guest houses, they simply insert a window in the toilet instead of a hood.
Closer to the mountains, where it's not so hot ...well, that'll do. But in the center to live with this window...bad, very bad. Humidity in Sochi can be such that for about a week, it will be impossible to dry things in direct sunlight.
This happens once a season for sure.
And if it is 100% synthetic, yet dried it will occaeion to smell bad. So this is the window and the humidity after the shower.... it just needs to feel. It's hard to describe.
By the way, there are almost no garbage chutes anywhere. Everywhere there are plastic containers or mettalic ones. Perhaps because of the fact that cockroaches in homes should not be bred...
But on the street...
You can come to Sochi and never meet them. But in the evenings, you can still see cockroaches running along the sidewalks from 1 cm to 4 cm. Yes. Their size is simply gigantic. Locals say that before the Olympics they were not. I can't say for sure.
One more time. In the houses, they are almost absent. But once in a cafe I saw such a pet on my lap))))there was laughter) This is not a street to step over).

You can meet anyone and a Scorpion (Adler) on the wall and raccoons (Lazarevsky district).
Here are such strange buildings can be found when someone earns money on renting housing to tourists, but there is no room to stand in the breadth of the place. This means that they are being built up.
In Adler, you can still find superstructures over garages.
There are such areas as "garages". But there is not much to say about them. Garages where you can live. There are also very comfortable ones. Only all live well very close.)!
