ARE YOUR GOALS SMART?

Helo beautiful people,this is a must read for everyone who has a focus and a vision in life.

First I would like to say a warm "Happy new month" to all hivers at large,this month is very special to me as it is also my birth month.

The month of June is actually the 6th month of the year which means that we have gradually gotten to the first half of the year.

I know that things haven't been easy for almost everyone in the past 2-3 months due to the pandemic but then I want you to remember that you must have had goals which you set when the year began.

Goals are those things you want to achieve within a specific period,it doesn't necessarily have to last for weeks or months,we can also set goals that could take years depending on your target.

You can set goals on food/diet for those that wish to loose/gain weight,you can set goals on reading,on blogging,on saving etc

You can even set goals to work on your attitude/personality but then when you goal doesn't capture the main features in goal setting you might find it difficult to meet your target.

The essence of this post is to guide us on how to Set SMART Goals.

For your goals to be "smart" you would need to put the following into consideration.

• SPECIFIC: For instance,if you want to build your hive power on the hive blockchain and you state your number one goal as "I want to build my hive power", your goal is not "SPECIFIC" because you didn't specify how many hive power you have presently and how many you would love to build it to.

• MEASURABLE: This has to do with Evaluation,set goals that you can keep track of your progress,how far you have gone and would be able to know when you have completed it.

• ATTAINABLE: You need to set goals that would be possible to achieve based on your capability,for instance if you are earning a salary of 10k in a month it's not possible for you to save a million naira by the end of the year,so you set goals within what you can do.
