Dog Portrait # 1 - Playful Polly
During our Time as House and Petsitters we took care of many dogs of all different breeds. This made it possible for me to portrait new dogs regularly. Some of them were easy to take pictures because you could distract them with food or toys, while others were a little more difficult to capture.
So I have a relatively large collection of dogs and cats portraits and I would like to introduce some of them to you in this series.
Polly
Polly is a relatively old Australian Cattle Dog, a Blue Heeler to be exact. These dogs are usually work dogs and mostly used on cattle farms, as the name suggests. But Polly was different, she has spent her whole life as a family dog and therefore she needed a lot of attention, playtime and and tasks to solve.
So I had to throw this drool-coated, stuffed monkey until my arm hurt.

thank you so much
The dog looks mean and might be aggressive. Can Polly be used for hunting?
No, she is not aggressive, not at all. Maybe the breed itself can, but this dog not. She is a family dog who loves playing and sleeping on the couch. :)
Okay, that's really cool. I like that.
