Asian Pudding Highlight: Pudding with Pandan Flavour
Did you ever know about pandan leaves called Vanilla from the East? That's because pandan scents the same as vanilla.
Pandan leaves are often used by Asian communities such as Malaysia and Indonesia, namely as food coloring.
So this time I will share with you an easy-to-make Pandan Pudding.
I use AGAR-AGAR powder, a plant-based gelatin version. So this dessert is a vegan option.
Let's get started!
Ingredients:
- 1 sachet of agar powder, 7 grams
- 100 grams of sugar
- 800 ml of coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon of pandan paste
How to make
- Combine all ingredients into a pan.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until it boils.
- Put in the pudding mold. Let it cool, then put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving.
The reason why I like to make pudding is because it is easy to make, and is loved by all members of my family.
I can also add a lot of color and flavor variations.
The taste of this pandan pudding is sweet and also very fragrant. Really appetizing.
You should try this recipe at home.
