To the Moon?, really? The tweet that boosted Dogecoin by 35%.

Immediately, Dogecoin began to rise, peaking at $0.07 before cooling off, but still retaining gains.
It may be an April Fool's joke, but when it comes to the meme-based Dogecoin (DOGE) cryptocurrency, it matters little.
After a new tweet from Tesla CEO Elon Musk, DOGE soared 35% in minutes on April 1, hitting six-week highs.
However, this time was possibly the most glaring example of the irony surrounding this cryptocurrency, as Musk promised that his other company, SpaceX, would "put a literal Dogecoin on the literal moon."
Having started 2021 at just $0.004, DOGE's year-to-date gains through Thursday stood at more than 1,500%.
