Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 51: I Learnt to Say NO.

There's a saying that says, -"every man is entitled to his own opinions"- So is in the power of every individual to make choices favorable for himself.
In the same vein we can take "No" to be our only option if the said opinion oppressed our emotions.
Nevertheless,let me take this questions as a guide to highlight some points in this week's acceleratior's contest.

Actually Yes,at first when i start up life as a kid before adulthood i always feel guilty saying no to people's request even at the expense of my life .
But after realising that saying "No" at times save me from some danger in life, i always give No as an answer when needed and with pride without apology knowing fully well that the choice i made wasn't out of hatred of the party involved but for my peace of mind.

Often times people find it difficult to say NO because of.......

-Peer pressure- ... Saying No to certain request from people most times is not easy due to the stigma they feel from people around them reason be that some people will offer you a gift with a bad tag urging you to accept to be that which you are not to receive the gift or reject the tag and loss your gift.

Imaging been tag as CHIMPANZEE OR MONKEY just for a token as a gift will you still love to accept or reject this gift? As for me I am not a chimpanzee neither am I monkey so i will say NO even with the offer attached.

Inferiority... Thinking less of one self.
One of the reason people find it difficult to say NO is because they feel less competitive of themselves, seeing that person as a superior being saying No to him/her might detached or deprived them their opportunities.

During my stay with one of my boss back then in 2013/2014 I was asked weather they should get me some domestic animals (Cattle and sheep) to care for around the community which i accept just to pleased my boss.

But after days turn to weeks, weeks turns to months i regrets my actions greatly which results to me running away from him back home to ease myself from trouble i put myself into. So ever since then before answer you YES OR NO i must asked questions to be sure before involving into any unforgettable memories, with NO as my first option.

My candid advice to anyone about choice of answer weather -YES OR NO- is this do not be afraid or feel less competitive (-INFERIORITY-)to express your feelings. Because most times people with little or no courage to speak fall victim of such misfortune, So be bold and look into the eyes of that person and tell him/her No as it will save you a lot of strength.

NO, -is not an act of hatred to your loved ones just an act of kindness. Meanwhile am no as the only option left but should be taken into consideration when making choice of answer.
