Greetings amiable steemians,is yet another wonderful week with a great contest topic "Navigating life in our Homeland"with @steem4nigeria as grant Host. Getting to know about how the nation economic has crippled somany economically, financially, and socially, many find it difficult to acquire just two square mael a day some Even a square mael is a big night mare to them. with how this topic is presented, this contest will enable us to know more about individuals challenges in their land.

let get to know what the topic "Navigating life in our Homeland" has for us below.

Describe the current situation of your country or homeland in terms of economic, financial and social aspect.

Situations in my Homeland hasn't be favourable lately both in financial situation, economic situations, socially and otherwise, cost of living has skyrocketed to it's zenith making it unbearable to the common man. There are enormous bills to pay but pockets are all with leakages.

Most times i Wonder if it is same with other nations or is just us facing such hell on Earth? because all the economic policies are all crumbling to the ground we are not far from instability because the Change we hope for has be long over due. Financially most people live below poverty line with less than 5steem a day with total struggling just put food on the table aside savings.

What challenging situations have you faced in your country?

Challenges are so many to talk About so to survive required a lot of commitment and constant struggle make it. Many years back when we started growing up i could recalled that we a naira (#1) buy things and we still have change left but what happened today?

One naira now has lost value many years back is not even in existence today. What we bought with one naira then could worth around 300 to 400 naira now that is almost a steem. This has worsened the cause of feeding, many go hungry in days just because food isn't affordable.

All this happened as a result of fuel (patrol) price increment because price of commodities are determined by how much fuel is sold. Determination of fuel has triple even more than the price of commodities.

The only thing that's constant in this scenario is only SALARY. Salary remain constant.
Cost of living has raise above normal, house is also a case since materials used in building is not price friendly. what about schooling? common man's children can't afford quality education anymore because NA WHO CHOP DEY GO SCHOOL

Challenges are so many many that this contest cannot accommodate everything i choose to write all the bother me about situations on my Homeland but let's leave it here till another day.

Despite these challenges, how do you survive/manage life?

Life here with most people is survival of the fittest. To make ends meet is never an easy one most especially people with families to cared for. And to make the situation worse some family members feel that some people owe them some money any valuables just because of entitlement mentality.

Not having a paying job (monthly payment job)as really affect me most especially now that i have a fracture/dislocation in my hand that i couldn't be able to do most of the hard work i have been doing to earn a living. This has given me many thoughts weather to power down and and use the money to sustain myself until am up and doing again? ( "because na who dey alive go fit write tomorrow about wetin sup yesterday and today" ) that we speak it here in Nigeria.

Since i have this predicament i have been trying both on and offline to if i will be able put food my table to also ensure i don't beg for what to eat.

What lessons have you learned from the experiences you've had in your homeland/country?

Learning a lesson the hard way is not a good option. Nevertheless, there's sense in every nonsense. negative situations will mould and reform you to a new version of you and prepared and develop you morally and otherwise.

Also learned a lesson on how to adjust to any situation positive or negative, in this case you become an economist without reading it as a course in school, another is i learn how to be patient in every situation i find myself in this economic instability because financial improvement is absent

This predicament that denied me freedom to get things as i normally got has thought me how to be smart rather than being hardworking. think smartly, work smartly but not in illegal means.

Conclusion

The cost of living is going out of hand and crime is on the increase with a lot of casualties daily. Some chose illegal means of getting Rich quick and it results to their end in this world. Many have died and are still dying on the Mediterranean Sea,red Sea, even in the desert trying to look for Greener pasture.

However, giving up is not an option because "who die na him lose but pesin wey dey alive still get hope". But in all you do, do it legally not otherwise.

Thank you all for stop by and read through my blog.
