MY VISIT TO MY CO-WORKERS AND IT TURN HECTIC DAY FOR ME.

Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening to all amiable steemians depending on your location. i came up again your with an event that occurred while traveling looking such situations i find myself to be part of it caught my attention that tempt me took some pictures.

In today's neighborhood watch i will be taken you through traffic situation onitsha-owerri road in the early hours of Saturday second day of September. I wake up today as usual with my full energy with the intention to visit my co-workers at the site because it has been long i visit them ever since i had an accident. And i decided paying them a visit today but is an hectic day because i couldn't dream that such heavy traffic normally occurred on this road not until today.

But since is not a stone throw from my house to the site i board a vehicle that will convey me to site, but unfortunate for me the road is not going. there's an heavy traffic that took us over five hours before crossing to the other side of the road.

This heavy traffic wasn't caused by accident but due to bad road. This bad roads are as a result of bad governance (maladministration), and corruptions join together with our impatience. Because of the economic situation everybody is bittered, people move with bitterness from their home to public unleashing their bitterness on people. You can sense it from the words of their mouth.

So as everyone thinks he/she is right and no one wants to be seen as a coward we all contributed to our suffering no one is ready to step back. so when we finally cross to the other side i decide to get down and took pictures of the pothole people are dodging which was the cause of our delay.

This potholes are almost a size of a big river, in the above picture you can see how tricycles are trying avoids the pothole because anyone who dare to follow through the pothole is at his own risk, Is either you invite more people to join you in carrying your vehicle up to the other side or call mechanics for repairs is up for you to choose.

One of the major cause of this is as a result of this town called onitsha located in anambra State Nigeria and is the town that host the biggest and largest market in Africa known as Onitsha main market but looking at the situation/condition of its road you will maleria fever because how long you'll spend on traffic.

Even with the position of this town the government refused to know that this constituency have such situations/conditions of bad roads considering the revenues recieved/accumulated in this town alone. That's is Even enough resources to cared for this road but reverse is the case.

am inviting

@usoro01
@mp2
@basil20 to take part in this contest and tell us about their neighborhood.

It is quite pathetic and sad looking at the state of the road and knowing nothing will still be done though we have alleged administrations.

This will discourage a good number of people from following this road or bringing up any form of business along this path.

Well, we still hope it gets better.
Sorry about the traffic and delay.

Yeah you are right because many are finding alternative route to follow. This has discouraged a lot of people even me inclusive because i don't pray to go through that again if not for something mandatory knowing fully well that it can't be repaired any time soon. So pathetic.

Thanks for stopping By one love 💙🌹✌️

Oh gosh! I thought I had seen potholes galore in South Africa, but oh my word, there is nothing like these in my country.
Well, if the government doesn't fix the ones we have, I suppose we will also have "rivers" soon.

In many of the towns, residents have taken it on themselves to maintain potholes.

The man is is trying in doing the charity work for his people kudos to him for his self less service to humanity, he's indeed a humanitarian (transhumanist.

It is terrible to think that the local municipalities are not doing their jobs.
It makes me so cross!

That is how that road has always been. Our government behave as if they are not seeing the road.
😍 I will encourage you to always follow public transport when going through that road. Sorry for the stress in line with your health challenges.

Best of luck.
