The Diary Game (24/10/2023): My visit to the University of Ilorin Zoo.

Dear diary today is yet another day for me to keep track of my daily activities by sharing my today's activities with the world and keeping the record for future reference. It's been a while though but it's important to save this beautiful day here.

Today was indeed a great day for me because I was opportune to go out with the team at the office to celebrate our last bonding as a team. I woke up by 6:30 a.m. to the sound of my alarm and said my morning prayers after which I went out to fetch water. And I did small laundry. After the laundry, I decided to cook white rice and vegetable soup which took just an hour.

After cooking I took my bath then I ate after which I relaxed a little bit for the food to digest well. It was 11:am already and that was my reading time. I brought out my books and studied for two hours. As my first semester exams are fast approaching I have to utilize the little time I have for my books.

Around 2:00 pm I went and took my bad and headed to the zoo where we agreed to meet with my colleague, I went there early even though some of my colleagues had not arrived yet so we had to wait for them so that we could all go in together as a team.

While waiting for them at the reception one of my colleagues came with the game which had been a long time since I played. For us not to be bored, we decided to play the game and it was very interesting.

After an hour everyone was present at the park and we all went in and started the activities that brought us. First we prayed after which we went round the zoo to see all the animals.

We came back and played some games, danced ate, some of the games we played were, truth or dare, ludo, shot, and about all we played the spin and eat game. It was one of the funny games we played because some people eat fresh pepper while others eat onions and more. All the games were very interesting and I must say that I had a fun-filled day with my colleagues.

We discussed within ourselves self, and we went ahead to the bridge work section, it was very scary even though it was my second time on the bridge work but I was still scared because of the way the bridge shook as if I would fall. But I still enjoyed the bridge work.

After the bridge work, we took pictures, and our team lead presented a gift to every present at the zoo, then lastly she gave us a word of encouragement about our work and how to handle any queries. It was getting late already so we did our closing prayer and left the zoo.

Without much wasting time, I took a bike from the zoo strength to my apartment. Reaching home I was already tired so I took my bath after which I took a cup of water to relax my body. The weather is very hot and yet there is no light so I decided to step out in other to enjoy the natural breeze after an hour I went into my room and decided to pen down how my day went.

In conclusion, today was a bit tiring but it was a fun day for me and I enjoyed hanging out with my colleagues it was indeed a remarkable day for me because it's been a long I went out. From work to school, home. That has always been my routine but I'm glad I went out today🤗
