Vegetables and their uses
Hello dear friends it is a pleasure to post in this community once again, today I would love to talk about vegetables as a whole and what they are used for. So let's start with
.......
- Okra
This is a very nutritious vegetable that is used in mainly preparing soup, it is filled with vitamin k and it is also good for the eyesight.
- Ugu(Pumpkin leave):
This is also a very nutritional food that is common in this part of the world, it can be eaten with rice. it can also be used to prepare soup, it is rich which various vitamins.
- Onions
These are vegetables that are added to a food to give taste, without it a certain sweet taste will not be given.
- Carrot
This is a vegetable that is mostly used in garnishing meals to make them look good, it can also be used to make energy drink which are essential for the human body.
- Pepper
Back then during the trans-saharan trade this commodity was known as black gold. It is used to spice food up and it also adds taste to the food
- Tumeric
This is a vegetable that is mostly used f to give colour to the food not is optionally used.
- Egg plant
This is also a very good vegetable that is used like tomatoes but he tastes are different. It can be used to make sauce that can be eaten with yam
And last but not the least we have..
- Tomatoes
These are tiny or large red balls of vegetables that are used to prepare stew at jollof rice. It can also be used to garnish food, and it is used by some people to fry eggs. It is very tasty, and it is loved by all(except me😁😁😁😁😁).
