Is what I've gained in life more than what I've lost?

I'm so delighted today to share my entry in this week's contest challenge in this community with the title "Is what I've gained in life more than what I've lost?".

Before I will present my entry, I will like to invite @vickyson, @m-fdo, @drhira, @jueco, and @josepha to also join the contest in this wonderful community. I wish everyone luck in the contest.

What are some things I've achieved and lost in 2022 or so far in 2023?

Every year people all over the world make progress based on their set goals. Sometimes this goal is achieved whereas at other times we lose what we have tried to achieve because of one thing or the other.

My case is not different. In the past year and even this year, I have made some achievements and I have also lost a few things. I will want to start with the achievement part and that is for the current year.

It was in this very year that I came across the steemit platform and I see it as a very great achievement that I have made among many other things in life. I have earned and learned a lot from the platform.

So at the moment, I have been able to improve myself intellectually and have also been able to pay a few of my bills since I earn a little token via the write-up I present.

I have also lost something in the just concluded year. I was given a scholarship in Australia but because of lack of funds, I couldn't meet up and that is how that passed me by.

it is something great I have lost indeed because that opportunity is something I may not have again. Though I took it as the will of God and I have been working so hard to gather little funds and reapply again.

What lessons did you learn from it?

Indeed I have learned a great lesson from the experiences. I'm glad to know steemit because it has helped me improve greatly. I have been able to expose myself to many things through the platform.

In the case of my loss, I have learned to always prepare myself beforehand when applying for any scholarship. I wouldn't have been here too but because of the lack of funds to sponsor my way to the place, I lost the opportunity. So I'm currently working and getting everything ready for the next time.

Have you made some progress this year? Tell us

Yes, I have made significant progress this year when it comes to progress. The steemit platform is one thing I will remain grateful for because of how it has helped me and it is still helping me.

With the write-up and little support, I'm sure I will get the required money to sponsor myself for the next phase of the application if I become successful.

I'm also working to improve myself greatly when it comes to creating quality content. I have been able to improve but wish to do more with time.

What's your plan for the remaining part of the year?

My plans for the remaining part of the year are to build myself intellectually and via the steemit platform and also learn and earn more money by publishing regularly on the steemit platform.

I want to build my steem power to at least 1,500 SP and also save at least 500 steem in an exchange where I can also trade it for fiat currency whenever I need money to do anything.
