THE WEATHER CONDITION IN MY LOCALITY

What is weather : weather can be define as the conditions or state of the atmosphere at a particular period of time.
The atmosphere consist of gases such as oxygen which is surrounded the earth, then whatever happens in the atmosphere is weather. Weather consist so many different factors that we can measure. It is also develop in the earth atmosphere and affected by so many factors in a given locations, example of this factors are moisture, wind and temperature.

What causes weather
The fact that the earth is spherical contribute to the weather conditions, the sun heat the different parts of the earth at a different time of the day and a year and also heat different angles of the earth. Areas that are around the equator get more direct sunlight and are likely warmer, while areas that are indirect the sun are cooler.
Our planets earth is titled in its axis and gives us seasons. Because of the different temperatures across the planets, the seasons changes and cause the temperature to moved and repeat itself. This movement is the causes wind, cloud, precipitation, and storm. What causes the weather cycle around the globe is the cycle of warm and cold air that mixed together and churn.

HOW IS THE WEATHER CONDITION IN MY LOCALITY

Though we have different types of weather in Nigeria depending on were someone reside, but as for residing in Akwa Ibom state the weather here is sunny 🌞 , dry and harmattan season.
Sunny
The weather is sunny here in the sense that there is no cloud blocking the sunlight and the temperature is very hot and warm especially in the afternoon, while there will be harmattan in the morning with cold wind. The weather today in uyo Akwa Ibom state is 35 degree celsius it was very hot, sunny and low in humidity .

HOW DOES IT AFFECT PEOPLE MOOD AND ACTIVITIES

Though the weather conditions does not stop people from their normal activity, the sunny 🌞 season or day are very good for outdoor activities, children can play outside,
The summer season in my locality is not good for planting because the soil is very dry, no water in the soil. Plant shade off and die or dry the leafs .Local roads are dusty, and
On the other hand the weather is affecting people mood in the sense that it makes people to get sick because of the cold wind called harmattan, somebody like me I'm having catarrh caused by the dust, and in the morning and evening I will cover myself with blanket or sweater because of cold wind. It is also important to drink enough water and spend more time in the shade because of hot or high temperature.

DO I LIKE THE WEATHER?

I don't really like this weather.
Because it is not good for health, it's makes people to sick, and there is so much dust, and it affected plant because it makes it dry due to lack of water and too much heat from the sun.
The weather is too cold in the morning and evening.and and hot in the afternoon, it does not allowed people to trek or take a walk.

CONCLUSION

The day to day changes in weather has a great impact in people, animal and their habitat as well as their livelihood, hot weather cause a lots of destruction and disruption, sunny days are common in summer as we experienced it now in my locality. The rain has stopped for some months now, plants dried up, cold wind called harmattan makes many people to get sick, too much dust in the rural area where the road is not tarred.
