A BRIEF INTRODUCTION ABOUT MY COUNTRY NIGERIA

Nigeria, which is officially name as Federal Republic of Nigeria is located in West Africa and know as the most populous country in Africa, that is why Nigeria is called Giant of Africa
It is a federal republic consisting of 36 State and Abuja which is the federal capital territory, the most largest city in Nigeria is Lagos and also the largest metropolitan area in the world.
Nigeria gain it's independent in the year 1st October 1960 and later became a republic in 1963. It is the seventh most populated country in the world , more than 200 million people lived in Nigeria, it is a country of different ethnicity which are Hausa , Yoruba , Igbo ,Ibibio etc.and also a multi_ language nation of more than 520 languages, and English is the official language in Nigeria. There are two main religious in Nigeria these are Christianity and Muslim, it is the largest economy country in the Africa and also known to be oil producing country and also in terms of Agriculture.

THINGS THAT INTEREST ME ABOUT NIGERIA .

• OIL

  this is one of the most great thing that interest me about Nigeria , Nigeria is known to be famous in petroleum and other fuels, including Palm oil when thinking of oils think of Nigeria, it is the Africa's largest oil producers, and its fall from 10th_ 12th largest country producing oil in the world. Oil plays an important role in the country economy, accounting about 75% of government revenue and also about 90%- 95% of foreign exchange.income.

• ENTERTAINMENT

Every countries have their entertainment methods, for example in America they have Hollywood, in India they have Bollywood and here in Nigeria we have Nollywood. The Nigerian entertainment and film industry has grown to be the second largest when it comes to the number of movies produced annually, also the music industry has pulled its weight in the international scenes with quite a number of recognition and also collaboration.

We have so many beautiful places for recreational purposes, for example obudu cattle resort, many people including foreigners come to this home of nature, they enjoy the beauty of this tranquility and tourism.

• OUR CULTURES AND HERITAGE

Culture have an important roles to play in the life of people in the world.
I am well please to born in a country with a lots kindly people, and also with so many beautiful amazing place to that people from other countries would like to visit or come for tourism.
Apart from this we have beautiful and interesting cultural things that people from other countries are looking and longing for.
here are some of our cultures that interest me about Nigeria:

• Food: in Nigeria we have different types of delicious and palatables foods depending on the tribe we come from. But I will talk about my Ibibio, we have so many many foods with different taste, for example we have Afang soup, editan Soup, atama soup, white soup, melon soup, okra soup, fluted pumpkin leaf soup, Ekpangkukwo, and so many others.we have so many traditional delicacy.

• our fashion: the way we dress is interesting, our dressing style is appealing to all other countries and they even embrace it, our traditional attire, our culture is unique in dressing pattern.
  Each tribe in Nigeria has a particular dressing style that they are known for and also identified by their native attires. My country culture is very deep in uniqueness also our tradition is very deep in diversity. This makes Nigerians quite interesting and most appealing people.

• masquerades: masquerades are enormous aspect of Nigeria culture, the marsked custumed that covers the face of the masquerades serves as the Nigerian precolonial religious tradition back then. But today it serves as an entertainment and they appear in Christmas periods, traditional marriage and during festivals. Each ethnic groups have their own masquerades, custumes and masks.they are from different types of materials such as grass, animals teeth and horns. It will traveled around the villages, dancing and doing incantation, sometimes chasing and terrified women in the village. Our culture and entertainment is the hallmarks it cannot be underestimate,

• WE ARE ENTREPRENEUR

There is nothing i appreciate than being creative and this drives Nigerians to make things to Nigerians are found in all part of the world because we are good in entrepreneurship. We survived the bad economy recession because we create a business out of nothing and also because we are smart entrepreneurs. This is the reason we see small businesses in every where flourish,we do not sit down and look at our government.

• FREEDOM

In Nigeria I have freedom of speech, religious, freedom to travel to anywhere in the country, hmmmmm it is in Nigeria that we have traffic jams, someone can beat the traffic, dump waste, on the road, it is wonderful that one can do all his/her shopping by the road side while driving on the road. Less payment of tax. I can worship my God the way it pleases me without persecution for what I believe.

• MY FAMILY MY PRIDE

The bond, love,unity, peace that we have in my family interest me most, of which I can't bear to miss it because right from my birth we lived closer and together with each other, we eat together and worship together, so nothing can break this bond.

THE THING I PREFER MY COUNTRY NIGERIA OVER OTHER COUNTRIES

I'm not ashamed of saying that I prefer our foods,our delicacies, our traditional foods over other countries. We have different yummy foods.

WILL I BE WILLING TO COME BACK BECAUSE OF MY RESPONSE IN THE ABOVE MENTIONED ANSWER.##

I know that every country have their advantages and disadvantages, at one place I may not like the weather, then the other it may be lack of development, some of the places may have good connectivity while others may have beautiful landscape, but upon this I may miss my ethnic foods and delicacies in some places, so if I make enough money I will come back to my homeland and enjoy my traditional foods with my family and friends.

CONCLUSION

There are so many reasons why Nigeria is the love of so many people around the globe especially to her citizens. We have a fabulous lifestyles to our Sense of humour, also an amazing, interesting destinations to our foods, our culture and heritage, Nigeria indeed is a blessed country of extraordinary varieties despite our present economy situation. Though life is not easy and cruel this doesn't have something to do with what we believe, Nigerians are very optimistic that is why we can turn every negative situations to something positive and see the good in any situation that we find ourselves.
My country may not be the perfect country, of course we do not have a perfect country in the world, this is why I feel compelled to stand up and love to stay in the nation of my birth THANKS ALL.
