Good evening my lovely friends, hopefully all of us are doing well and we are enjoying our weekend, I am grateful and thankful to @steem4nigeria for organizing and initiating contest like this so as to keep us busy in this amazing Community.

What Is Risk?

Risk can be defined as exposing something or someone valued to a danger or harm or lost.it involved having uncertainty about the effect or the implications of an activity with view respect to things that humans value in life, and it is always focus on undesirable, negative consequences.

The Risk That I Took in My Life

Hmmmmm I am very ashamed of telling this story , but I have to because it will save as an example to others, this happened last year 2021 around September, let me narrate the story.
I am doing small business, that is selling of some food stuff, called it provisions, so that last year i was in need of money like one hundred thousand naira (1000,000) to settle my problems especially ny house rent that was expired since June 2021 and I kept on begging my land lady that I will pay the money that she should have a little patience with me and give me sometime to do that.
I got help from one of My uncle who sent me twenty thousand(20,000) and my sister gave me ten thousand naira (10,000) and I have ten thousand naira (10,000) in my account and all this money amounted forty thousand naira (40,000), so unfortunately for me one money investment came out and they said if someone invest money he/ she will get double of what he/she has been invested at the end of the month, so many of My business colleagues put thier money and get it double at the end of the month and they continued to do this double money business for over two months.they encourage me to follow and do it, I was hesitate at initial, but when I think of where I will get money to solve my problems one of my mind told me to follow and do the double money investment and the other kept telling me not to do it.
So I did not follow the right mind I went to the bank and withdrew all my savings forty thousand naira (40,000)and went ahead to put in double money investment,.then waiting for the end of the month to collect double of what I gave to them.

How I Felt

Right from the day that I carry my money and put in that investment I didn't have the peace of mind, my conscience kept on bleming me. In fact I was not myself, I was depressed and asked myself why did I took such risk especially when I was in need of money, what if this people run away with my money?

How Did It Turn Out?

Hmmmmm, well it does not turn out well.
On the exact day that I suppose to go and collect my money, I woke up early in the morning and and prepared, and went there by 10:am to my greatest shocked in life their office was open and there was no body there, they have packed all their belongings, even the phones numbers was off. Tears run my eyes. all my money have gone and how would I solved my problems especially the house rent, all this thought was battling my mind.

Was This Kind Of Risk Worth Taking?

My answer is affirmative NO
I will not advice anyone to take this undesirable risk in any form, it can ruin life it is not a good business.

would I Take This Kind Of Risk Again?

No is my answer
Since that day I have promised my God and myself that I would never again involved in double money investment. I prayed to God for forgiveness.

What Was The Reaction Of My Family and Friends?

They were very angry with me, and blame me for taking such risk, and they warn me not to take that kind of risk again in my life.both my family and my friends were not happy..
