Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest week 73: together as one

Warm greetings to amazing members of this community it is my pleasure to welcome you all to my blog again it is my pleasure to participate in this wonderful country is organized by @steem4nigeria. Without much delay let's get to the Business of the day. But before I proceed I would love to invite @alli001, @pandora2010 and @khayjhay to join in this contest.

How does steemit connect people from different places?

I wish I could use voice notes to answer this but be it as it may steemit connect people in so many ways it helps us to make friends and born with people in different parts of the world through context like this and other useful publications published on the platform. For example if a user from Pakistan publishes an article and I read I will be tempted to comment and he will reply and if it is consistently we will be tempted to exchange contact as a matter of fact we will be inviting each other for contest and he we have any idea that will be of benefits to others we can also share it. And to be sincere I think I have seen a situation in which two Nigerian users have exchanged their contacts in the platform which is not bad at all and through this medium they will get to know each other more better. As a matter of fact through meet up we have the opportunity to see some steemit users face to face.

What makes you feel part of the steemit community?

I see myself as part of the steemit community because of my relationship and interaction with people in the platform when people create valuable content and impactful contents I commands and they give me a feedback and a reply and I do feel that I am recognized and my opinion is also valued and valid 💯💯. Actually commenting on people's content will show that you have read and gone through their post and I've found it helpful and also it reaffirms the the person's point or it could be just expressing or sharing in a person's joy and success. At times you could counter a point based on your own understanding. All the same when we interact and they reciprocate we feel that we are part of steemit and we will have a sense of belonging.

Why is supporting each other important in steemit?

Nobody is an island we all need each other in one way or the other. Supporting each other will create an avenue for fulfillment of dreams or opportunities. It could be for charity work or donations as the case maybe. For instance the world smile project,if there were no support from users from different places then I don't think that project would have been a reality today so all hands must be on deck for one another. We need one another to survive in this platform.

How can we help new users feel welcomed?

We should all remember that one time in the past we will all new users and so we will always guide it on how to make the best use of this platform so as to excel so we can engage with them encourage them so as to keep grinding and pushing never relenting. During meet up like I said earlier we mentor them, interact and comments on their post as well through these medium they will have a sense of belonging. So we should stick together as one family free from nepotism, tribalism, favouritism and other forms of gross irregularities without being biased and we will see steemit as a family, a place we all can be secured and we can be together as one. And remember when there is togetherness there is bound to be progress!!!
