Handling Rejection
I don't think anyone deserves to be rejected or even experience rejection. It could be deadly; rejection is the highest killer and very fast to kill.
To be rejected is just like a man who has no friend, no neighbor, and no family. It's disastrous. I wouldn't want to experience it for one second. But there are people who face rejection every day, and I wonder how they survive, although some of them do a lot of things to take their own lives. Rejection causes trauma which is not good for anyone.
**Rejection means the refusal to accept, believe, or trust. It means turning down, dismissal, or refusal.
A lot of people have it in their blood to always reject others. They feel they are to be accepted while others are to be rejected when they fail a little test. Even parents reject their babies at birth; some reject their babies while in the womb, while others reject as these kids are grown up.
No matter what crime a person commits, no one deserves to be rejected. Forgiveness can ease off everything and let love rule.
Just sit back as I share my life experience with rejection...
I am this simple and friendly lady, but my family isn't doing bad, although we are in the middle class, but I was so opportune to have friends from the rich class. They treated me nicely, and I thought doing life with the rich was interesting and beautiful.
I visited their house and even dined with them, but one day, the parents of one of my rich friends met me, but the way they accessed me got me so worried; I didn't know that the worst was about to happen.
I was condemned and rejected at once. They didn't even allow me to finish the food I was eating; I was told that I don't belong to their status; I was asked to leave their mansion at once and never associate with their children.
It was more than rejection for me. Just because I am not in the same status with them, and I was rejected. I felt so bad and ashamed of myself. I felt my parents failed me by not making wealth for me to enjoy. I had so much in mind at that time, I even never wanted to return to school. Rejection is quite dangerous.
See, life is not all about the rich dine with the rich and the poor with the poor; we all need each other to survive. No one knows tomorrow, and so no one deserves to be rejected, no matter your status.
My life experience taught me that rejection can put some silly thoughts into someone's head, and the person might do some silly things. It also taught me never to reject, no matter my status in life, no matter what I've acquired; rejection is not the answer.
A little advice to anyone facing rejection
Don't ever think any evil when you feel rejected; stay put and ask God to help you survive it. It's not so easy to do life alone, but I'm sure someone else would accept you someday.
Try to stay away from people who reject you. I have learned that I have no business with the rich until I become wealthy.
