Today, the 5th of October is World Teacher's Day.
This day is set aside to celebrate teachers in our lives.
Please let celebrate the teachers in our lives.
Do you know that all doctors, engineers, statisticians, entrepreneurs, mathematicians, scientists, sociologists, politicians, zoologist, botanists, and economists were taught by a teacher?
Do you know that behind every successful lawyer, physiologist, astronomer, and entomologist, there was a teacher?
I am a teacher
Someone I get confused because teaching is dynamic.
I get stressed because of the workload and different characters of pupils and students.
Despite all odds, I don't regret being a teacher.
Seeing my learners grow gives me joy.
I am a teacher who spent most of my night planning on what will be taught the following day.
I used most of my morning explaining to learners the result of my previous night plans.
I spent most of my afternoon marking, correcting, and judging. Don't forget a teacher plays the role of a judge in class.
I spent most of my year coaching, encouraging, and getting stressed at the process if the learners make our job harder.
Spending most of my morning explaining
In my years of being a teacher,
- I have learned to be adaptable.
- I have developed the habit of being an active listener.
- I have learned to focus on the growth of my learners.
- Prepareness has become my lifestyle.
- Patience is my most cherished attribute.
- Teaching job helps me to be creative.
- I am all rounded
- Showing empathy is ideal in my life as a teacher.
- I have learned to respect my learners as well as I want them to respect me.
- I am a friend to my learners.
I appreciate all my teachers for their patience while teaching me. I love you all for all you did for me.
They helped me learn things and experience the world in new ways. Thank you for everything you do. I love you all.
A teacher can be like a friend, someone who stands beside you and helps you round each day.
Most of them are strong and caring.
Teachers are dedicated to education, exercising much patience to make sure learners assimilate learning.
Let's celebrate the teachers in our lives.

Teachers are one of the most important people in the world because we all learn from them. In some foreign countries, they protect their teachers a lot.
But our parents are our first teachers, and we learn a lot from them.
Yes, teachers are the most important people in the society and should be held in high esteem but unfortunately here in Nigeria reverse is the case. That doesn't make me feel bad about being a teacher. I am proud to be calles a teacher because its a noble profession.

They mean a lot to me as they have also shaped my view of people and the world in general.
They have made me develop the spirit of tolerance, which have help me raise my own kids too.
