My Neighbourhood Watch

Ohh @xkool, the 32nd week is already upon us, how quick time flies. Thanks for the opportunity once again and as a deligent eye witness, I bring my reports.

My report on the neighborhood

This few weeks I didn't make an entry prior to the fact that I wasn't always at home. Then I realized how erroneous my thought were. Anywhere one finds himself is his/her neighbourhood. You agree with me right?

With this thought in mind, I have also begun my watch activities in the school where I find myself and here's my report.

My Campus neighborhood In General

The school environment differs somehow from my home environment, the noise, the vibe to spend money, the craftiness of traders on campus, the boisterous laughter, different cultures, languages, traditions, customs, behaviour...... just a lot of things that are so different from my neighbourhood at home.

The weather & environment

Here the weather is dry and everything is dusty, the fact that it is a town with lots of vehicles, doesn't make it any easier as the air is mostly polluted by dust and smoke from vehicles. The environment is quite clean in the morning as the delligent cleaners do their best to ensure the environment is safe

My Neighbourhood watch: Lots of vehicles, dust and smoke...
Economic state of the campus

While at home, the popular phrase was "things are costly" and everyone always tries to be frugal. However here on campus, the popular phrase is "Education isn't for the weak". Here market thrives as students are always willing to spend no matter the cost. Hence there lies a huge divide between the have and they have not.

Academic state

It's a school environment so it is only natural I report on the academic state, the academic state is high here as most people want to pass their exams which is coming up in a week's time. The library is filled and people are always found in clusters studying together.

My Neighbourhood watch: Students studying in groups and lecturers doing their best...

The lecturers are not left out as they dish out their best to give their students despite the fact that the numbers of learners are overwhelming.

Behavioural state

The campus unlike any other place houses different behaviour, we have the good, the bad and the ugly and it is so easy to get influenced by peers. A look at this picture shows that it is very rare to see people alone. They are always with a partner or somebody to relate with. This shows how easy it is to be influenced. Hence it's no surprise we have good kids who turned bad.

Conclusion

There's so much more to write on, However I have to get ready for an examination. I will update yall if I find anything worthwhile for now I'll say,

I love y'all
Adiós

Hello dear friend, I thought that education is very expensive in my own country but after reading your post I came to know that education is expensive in every country. It is true that education is not for the weak, yet every person tries to get educated as per his capacity.
Like your country, exams are about to start in my country too and we want to pass the exam, so at this time every student is focusing on his studies. It was nice to read your posts. Good luck with the contest 👍

@moyeon, seeing your comments gladdens my heart, thanks for going through my posts. And though expensive, education is beneficial and as you rightly said, every family tries to get their members as educated as possible.

Good luck to you and other steemians writing Thier exams.
Love ya
