👉What does togetherness mean to you?

My people often says that "A single tree can not make a forest". So it is the presence of other trees coming together that make a forest; that's togetherness.

Togetherness entails unity, love, harmony care. The core word is Love, it is love that brings about togetherness. It is also love that made two strangers to come together and spent the the rest of their lives in the name of marriage.

We share fellowship when we come together
And my darlings togetherness is a beautiful moment that connect people and make them have a sense of belonging through shared feelings and laughter.

👉How can we create a stronger sense of community in our lives?

You see that person living next to you I mean your neighbor, start with him or her by getting to know them, create a friendly environment by establishing a relationship.
Stop doing me, myself and I kind of attitude.
Because whether you like it or not we need each other to survive.

Also we can create a stronger community in our lives by attending local events and functions.
For instance: the one we normally have every Christmas in our state (Akwa ibom State) called "Christmas village". Where a lot of people would get a stand and sell anything of their choice from the 1st of December to the 31st, we call it 31 days of fun.

It is an avenue where we can promote our heritage, culture, delicacies and gives room for the upcoming persons who got talents to showcase what they got and be able to express themselves.
All thanks to the organizers because it is always a fun filled period where you meet, socialize and connect with a lot of people. You can come and have the experience this Christmas, and you will be highly welcomed.

Even relating with people on social media, sharing events and happenings on our timelines can help create a stronger community for us too.

👉What activities do you think bring people closer together?

• Attending marriages
• Organizing workshops and seminars and even symposium
• Going for church programs ; like convention, music concert etc
• Even planning for a burial, because there will be series of meetings organized in order to reach a conclusion in regards the success of the burial and these acts can help foster, strengthens and build a relationship.
• Child dedication/ naming ceremony

• Finally, like the national meetup of all the Nigerian steemians coming up at the end of this month. Ah! I can't afford to miss it o and you shouldn't miss it too.

👉What are some challenges to togetherness in today’s world?

There are so many challenges that can cause people from coming together.

First is lack of interest: You must have interest and develop passion for something. It is that passion that would push you in making some sacrifices towards that thing.
A lot of people might say money at first but there's how one has the financial capacity but no interest whatsoever.

Financial constraints: Not having what to bring to the table and the finances to be of support can pose as a challenge.

And also distance can pose as a barrier for togetherness, this is where making sacrifices and love comes in.
And some people are not willing to go where they won't benefits from, so they tend to consider all these factors before they make a move.

👉How can we support each other during tough times?

My darlings money is not everything, although people use it as a yardstick for support. But
We can also give moral support inform of an advice to someone in times of tough times.

Show kindness by rendering a helping hand
Be our brother's keeper.

The world is a tough place already please let's not add to it not our actions cause another to regret knowing us.
May the Almighty help us as we strive for perfection.
