The Diary Game (25/12/2022): Christmas Day Celebration

Good day Steemians, it's Christmas day, which is a day to celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus, who was sent to the earth for the salvation of mankind. I will be presenting my diary post for today.

Today is a special day because it happens to be Christmas day and the last Sunday of the month and year 2022. I woke up at 6:30 am and had my devotion to God, praising him for counting me worthy to witness the last Sunday of the year 2022, I blessed his holy name for his protection, provision, love, mercy, peace, and grace over me, my family, and friends.

I did small cleaning of the room and joined my sister in cleaning the house before I boiled water for bathing as the harmattan was blowing too much coldness. I had my bath, dressed up, and prepare myself for church. I left for church at 8:50 am and luckily I saw a commercial bike quickly and got to church on time.

The program went smoothly, it started with Sunday school class which talks about Mary's life and grace, how she accepted the revelation with doubt, her humbleness, and thanksgiving to God for choosing to bless someone like her out of all the maidens in the country, then we go into discipleship class that teaches us about how to celebrate Christmas in acceptable ways, Christmas is about the love of God for everyone as He sends his begotten son to come for our salvation, His life and death tells us how much he loves us to give his life to us. It is expected of everyone and believers to show their love to everyone all the time, especially this Christmas.

Giving to the less privileged, our friends and enemy, making peace with everyone, and celebrating Christmas moderately. We praised God for the love, grace, and mercy he bestows on us, allowing us to celebrate the last Sunday of the month in his sanctuary, and with peace and happiness, many had died and some are battling for their life. God kept to His covenant for us and the church for the year 2022, which was his covenant of love, peace, and mercy.

The service came to a close at noon, then I headed home, and I and my sister prepared food which was Jollof and Fried Rice and Chicken for ourselves, our neighbor, and our visitors. I was so tired at the end of the day that I only took coca-cola, shower, and sleep. This is my diary game post for Christmas day 2022. Thank you for reading. Merry Christmas everyone.
