What are meetups relative to steemit and have you ever attended a steemit group meetup?

Meetups as related to Steemit is a program that brings Steemians, from different location across the states or country together to share their experiences and also discuss issue that they think needed to be discussed to have a visible solution.

This means that meetup has to do with the coming together of Steemians within a given geographical location or within a country to see each other face to face discuss issues and also encourage each other by means of communication.

During a meetup in the case of Steemit, the young Steemians growing up tends to ask questions to the other Steemians on how they were able to grow in the platform and how they can also grow like them. It is always a time to get motivated and also learn from those who have already been on the platform and also those who have significantly grow in the platform.

What are your views about the upcoming national meetup in Nigeria? Do you think it's necessary?

The national meet up coming up in Nigeria this Saturday is the first of its kind. As far as I know Steemit has been in existence here in Nigeria for a while and I think it is good for Steemians in Nigeria to see each other physically and not just virtually all the time.

So in my opinion I think the meetup is necessary as it will help Steemians who can attend to see others they have been seeing virtually and also it will help them learn a lot from those they consider their mentor since they will have a one to one conversation with them.

The Nigerian meetup is necessary to showcase that the Steemit community also exist here in this country. It will be a period of awareness creation and sensitisation for those who don't have any knowledge about Steemit as well.

Mention 5 Steemians you would love to meet during the Nigerian national meetup and why you crave to see these Steemians?

It is quite unfortunate that I won't be able to make it to the meetup because I have an appointment on that very day of the meetup and it is scheduled to hold in a different state far away from the scheduled state of the meetup.

I really would have love to be in attendance because I have made some good friends only which I would have love to see physically. The likes of @ngoenyi, @ruthjoe, @goodybest, @xkool24 and @benton3 are the major Steemians I would have love to see with my eyes.

We have been working together with the above listed Steemians for almost 3 years or more now but I have never seen any of them physically. It could have been a wonderful opportunity for me if you ask me.

I wanted to see those I have really worked with and also have a one on one conversation with them also learn a few things from them because we have always done everything online I need to see their beautiful faces offline.

If you get to see steemcurator01 during the meetup, what do you think your reaction would be?

Well, seeing the biggest and most respected curator on the platform here in Nigeria could have been a dream come true to most of us because i have always dream of meeting SC01 or SC02.

Those behind these accounts have always make me happier in the ways they handle the platform through meaningful comments and corrections and also educating me in things that are very important.

I recall getting corrections from SC02 in one post based on spelling and where such word can be used appropriate. Steemit is a learning centre and I will be happy to see someone who taught me something tangible.

Finally, I wish to invite my friends @dove11, @solaymann, and @josepha to also join this contest today and share their own opinions about this wonderful topic.

I would love to join this contest as I have just met two Steemians from my area. I am not sure whether this contest is valid for Africans only or if other continents are also eligible. Let me check the contest post.
