Assalamu Alaikum my friends. This education of Graphics Design is very important to me. I have been involved in designing for about 4 years. This is an Extra source of income for me. I would like to thank the host @lhorgic for bringing a topic to the Steemit platform for us to learn from that many can benefit from. I have studied this course completely and today I am presenting to you what I have learned from this course through my homework.

Question 1: What is Graphic Design?

Nowadays the importance of graphics design is increasing day by day. Not only marketing but also different sectors are covered by graphics design. Therefore, as visual content is becoming popular nowadays, the demand for graphics design is also increasing.

Basically, the meaning of graphic design means the design of images. Because Graphics means Image and Design means Design. In simple words, it is the process of making a design through images. And broadly speaking the art of any image or combination of characters when expressed through an imaginary picture by specific thought is called a graphic design. As an example we can say logo design or poster and advertisement etc. for business needs. A designer uses computer software to express his imagination in digital form and bring it to reality.

Mainly Two types of Graphic Design:

• Still Image Graphics : Still image graphics work is designed based on a specific image.
• Motion Graphics : Animation and video graphics are created through motion graphics.

I have graphic designing experience. I have done an online course. Because the marketplaces have a lot of demand for graphics design. It is very easy to make a career in graphic design if you have enough experience. What we can do by learning graphic design, I presented below for your convenience: Logo design, web design, business card design, book cover design, animation making, image editing, video graphics etc.

I have presented below all the software that we will use for designing graphics:

• Adobe Photoshop : Best option especially for designing Still images.
• Adobe Illustrator : It is used for vector designs.
• Figma : It is used for designing web pages.
• Adobe Premiere Pro : Best Software for Motion Graphics Design This software has all tools and extensions for creating graphics, animations, cartoons etc.

I think there is so much demand for graphic design in the world now that when you go out on the streets, from billboards to wall posters, graphic design is everywhere. So I am hopeful that if we can use this skill well then our source of financial income will increase as well as our standard of living.

Question 2: Pick any three of the principles of Graphic design and talk about them based on your level of understanding .

I think that before creating a meaningful and attractive design is to decide how it will function. Because I believe as a designer that design is a combination of thinking, problem solving and reality. The designer must have the main attraction and purpose while designing the graphics. And this is why a graphic designer needs to know some rules. These principles are called design principals. Below I discuss the three principals of graphic design as per Homework's requirements.

Repetition :

Repetition is one of the most important principles for graphic design. It helps organize and coordinate the various elements of the design. Also, the design is perfected by repetition of colors, fonts or shapes. Recognizing a brand requires repetition in the overall content strategy.

Contrast :

Contrast is a very important basic principle in graphic design. Because it helps to draw out the most elements of the design. It is difference between two or more elements in the context of visual design. Here we can easily understand and compare the difference between the design elements. Design elements such as red and white and thin, modern etc. are contrasted with each other. This directs the viewer's eye to the most important parts of the design and can easily organize information.

White Space :

Space is an important part of the basic principles of graphic design. If a design lacks white space, the elements will appear jumbled and will not engage the viewer. Therefore, white space helps to create a beautiful structure of the design as well as highlight important parts of the design message. The rule of highlighting is to fill the part of the design that we want to leave blank with a particular color, text or image.

There are two types of white space. These are :

• Positive Space : Positive space refers to the design objects by which we will keep the design title, image, information etc. in that space to attract the attention of the audience.

• Negative Space : The empty part of the Image is called negative space. It is also known as breathing space. Negative space is so important as it shapes the design and helps to highlight information.

So effective use of white space on webpages or posters is key to making designs visually appealing.

Question 3: Practically show us how to make the graphical image below.

Step : 01

• First I will go into my Canva Pro app. Then I click on Create a design. Then I will be shown few options from there I will select the specific size as per my requirement.

Step : 02

• Then in front of me will come my fixed size interface where I will get a white blank template. Then I'll click on the color option to color the template black. There if I click on black color then my assigned template will have black color.

Step : 03

• Then I'll click on the element. There I'll select a spherical shape. As you can see the circle in my template is showing. Then I'll click on Color again to give it a white color. Next I will click on the white color to make the selected circle white.

Step : 04

• In this step you can see that my circle has become white color. Then I will click on duplicate three times. This will give me three more circles of the same size.

Step : 05

• So my template now shows a total of four circles. But they look random. I will arrange them.

Step : 06

• Then I will click on the color option again according to the homework needs. Then I click on the yellow color to color a circle yellow according to the requirement of the challenge. And thus my task was completed.
