"Nagging in a Relationship!"
Hello friends
Nagging is a character issue of constant complains that goes with murmuring
How do you deal with nagging in a relationship? |
---|
Personally I dislike nagging in a relationship. The best way I handle nagging is either I talk about the root cause of the nagging or I ignore the one who nags.
Partners in relationship should be open to talk about the insecurities, worries and concerns. But in an instance where a partner feels that he or she is not given the opportunity to say their mind or observes that the complains are not adhered to them then nagging begins.
So I suggest the way forward to deal with nagging is to be a good listener to your partner. Learn to listen to their views or opinions about a matter, doing so creates a sense of importance within them.
I have noticed that talking back when someone is nagging doesn't solve the problem. Rather it even makes the one who nags more angry, and therefore continues with the habit of nagging.
Do you agree that nagging comes only from women and not from men? Or from both? |
---|
No I don't agree that nagging comes from only women. I think men too nags . Just that women are more prone to nagging than the women.
I have actually seen men who nags and guess what? It can really be so annoying when a man is nagging. There was this particular friend I had sometime, she had a boyfriend that was really cute but guess what he nags at every little provocation. I was so shocked to see how he behaves.
This been said , it simply means nagging can come from the women or from the men. It all depends on the personality of the person.
Does nagging and complaining mean the same thing? Explain |
---|
There can be no nagging without complaining. Nagging and complaining are not the same. Nagging is a continuous complain with murmuring added to it.
While in complain, someone can complain about something without nagging about it. To complain means to openly show a dislike about a matter that you don't like, this can be done through a conversation or through outright outburst.
Do you think building a better communication skill in a relationship can help stop nagging? |
---|
Yes a better communication skill will surely help stop nagging. When you communicate with your partners you literally discuss everything that boils down to your relationship.
You can talk about the things you are not happy about, the things that makes you angry, the things that makes you uncomfortable and many more issues when you communicate. When this is done, your partner will know what and what not to do in other to trigger nagging.
Communication in a relationship, is simply the best I tell you for free.

Ma'am @ruthjoe I really love how you said you deal with nagging by either talking about the root cause of the nagging or better still ignoring the person that naggs.
I want to say that, it is one of the most simplest and easiest way to handle nagging in relationships and it only takes a matured mind to do this.
Nagging comes from both genders (Men and women), just that women are more prone to nagging than men in relationships and also nagging really depends on the persons personality as you have rightly stated!
It is very true that effective communication skill in relationships helps to stop nagging reason being that when you communicate openly with your partner in relationship, you will be able to understand and know the likes and dislikes of your partner and you will avoid doing things that will trigger them to nagg.. Just as you told us for free that communication in a relationship is simply the best, I totally agree with you ma'am 🥰🥰
I really enjoyed reading through your post and I wish you nothing but success in the contest.🙏🙏
It's very funny and sometimes very annoying when a man nag, because he doesn't have any valuable reasons for doing that, but because he doesn't want to let his ego down by expressing himself to their partner, they chose to nag to show the man in them, not knowing that, the nagging has scared away their partner.
Whereas woman always have good reason of nagging, it's because the want to put to in a right proportion.
Nice content. I've learnt something new today.
Nagging can come from anyone, regardless of the gender.
@ruthjoe keep it up
