Hello and greetings to my fellow Staimain friends, How are you doing? I am sure you are all fine with me. I am so amazing, which is why I am so excited to participate in this content organized by @bossj23. I really appreciate his great effort in this @Steem4Nigeria community.
Actually I was told That Steemit is, an online business is also a social media platform where you can write a content and earn from the platform.
Before joining, what were you told about Steemit that moved you to join the platform? |

Before I joined the Steemit platform, I was informed of several things that made me join Steemit. First of all, I saw Steemit on social media, which was Facebook. I didn't have interest in it, but when I was introduced to @bossj23, he explained to me that Steemit is a Web3 platform that runs on blockchain.
He now explained to me that Steemit is like Facebook, where you can post stories (content) and comment on other people's posts, for which you will be paid. He now told me many testimonials about how people testify how good the platform is. Just by posting a contest, you earn real money. The real thing that motivated me to join the Steemit platform was how many people became millionaires on the platform just by posting a contest. So I wanted to see how I could make it happen to myself.
What do you tell others Steemit is? And are you really convinced Steemit won't wrap up like other online businesses someday? |

Well, I actually told others that Steemit is a big Web3 platform that is global to everyone. It is a platform website where you can really earn money through Steemit. You can be your own boss just by posting interest-based contests. Due to my observation, I don't think Steemit's business wraps out like other online businesses. To me, Steemit is a generational platform that you, as a parent, will introduce to your children, and your children will also introduce Steemit to their children. I think the only thing that can happen to Steemit is maintenance.And maintenance will only take 24-48 hours due to Steemit's blockchain technology.

Yes, Steemit is an online business. The Steemit platform is an online business because anything you find yourself doing every day or once a week is a business because you have an interest in it. Coming to talk about similarities and differences between Steemit and other platforms,.Yes, and an example is Beermoneyforum. Beermoneyforum is also an online business-earned platform where you can be paid by posting, but the difference between Steemit and Beermoneyforum is that Beermoneyforum pays hourly and you need to post or comment 3-5 post-pay hours (as I was informed), while here in Steemit there is no limitation on posting; you can post as much as you want to earn.

There are numerous social media platforms, but I would like to state three similarities and differences between Steemit and Facebook social media. Here are some similarities and differences.
- Both social media platforms allow users to create content, create profiles, and connect with other users.
- Both platforms allow users to create and join communities or groups based on shared interests.
- Steemit operates on a decentralized blockchain, which assures you that there is no central authority controlling the platform, while Facebook is owned and operated by a single company called Meta (formerly Facebook, Inc.), which takes control of all aspects of the platform.
- In Steemit, users have more control and ownership over their content because of the decentralized nature of the platform, while on Facebook social media, a company called Meta (formerly Facebook, Inc.) retains control and ownership over the content posted.
