TRADITIONAL CELEBRATION OF [AMANKALU DAY]

This Christmas 🎁, I decided to travel to my maternal Village for Christmas and also to enjoy Myself, I travelled on 26th December and the great and biggest Occasion of all time was celebrated in 27th of December 2024. It was a great Event ever, which everyone was so willing to attend and can't wait for it to come, This celebration is an ancient Ceremony that always happens every blessed year more especially on 27th of December of any year.

This ceremony or occasion is well known as the AMANKALU DAY, and the entire village normally comes out in full masses to celebrate together and also have great guns and enjoyment. This great occasion is being celebrated in remembrance and in respect of that faithful day The name AMANKALU VILLAGE was formed together as one and also brought together as on Village.

Definitely am from Alayi, in AMANKALU VILLAGE Abia State, and the name AMANKALU VILLAGE was formed on the year 27th December 1868 and since then they have stand to become one Village, share things in common, love each other and finally become brothers and sisters, Well the formation of the name AMANKALU VILLAGE was declared my the help of the elders, traditional rurals and also through the help of the government.

So this special day was then moved into a serious special day for them, which lead to a yearly celebration known as AMANKALU DAY, That means the remembrance of that faithful day they were formed together as one village and was also given the name AMANKALU. Well including the elders, traditional rurals and also the entire village decided to keep hosting a great traditional occasion on every 27th December of every year, to indicate that faithful day they were formed as one Village.

So as God may have it, I then decided to attend the years own celebration 🎊 and sincerely speaking 🗣️ it was massive and so Great, I must also say that it have been the biggest occasion that I have ever attended on 2024. The Event happened to start exactly by 2pm but I attended it by 4:00pm and that was the main time the sweetness of the Event was brought up to the fullest extent. I really enjoyed Myself and also many fantabulous traditional entertainment was showcase

Such as displaying of Masquerade, some traditional entertainment like cutting if human bodies and nothing will happen to such person, disappearing and appearing at the same moment, and many interesting ancient songs by the elders and also by the women organisation. Many interesting drama was also displayed to showcase many things that happened before and after the formation of the name AMANKALU VILLAGE. I Really enjoyed myself to the fullest extent and this was the biggest event of the year
