Childhood memories stand out and it makes me smile whenever I remember them. It is really fun to create memories. Memories are amazing.

My childhood was fun. I will love to share with you one of my favorite childhood memories and why it stands out to me.

Little children have bonds and ties with different people but growing up some people change though. But, did it change for me or stand?? We will get to know.

In 2011 we just moved, we moved out of our old residence to our permanent house. I sure was sad because I will miss the lovely friends I had there. I cried uncontrollably. Our new resident was with a few houses. I had to accept it, when I could no longer cry again. I soon resumed my nursery and primary school where I schooled. I didn't want to change schools anymore so I won't lose my friends. When school ends I get into the school bus which conveys students home but daily, I will be dropped off the road because it was said that our environment is not beautiful. There were lots of trees one would mistake for a forest though.

I soon got used to the environment and on a beautiful sunny day, I decided to take a stroll with my siblings. My aunty let us do it. On the long walk, I bumped into a smallish little girl. She had a cute round face, cute lips, and beautiful long legs to compliment her little body. I guessed her age. She was six years old just like me. We smiled at each other and left. On a Sunday morning, my elder brother decided to take us to where he worshiped and behold I bumped into her again. We became so close. I started going to see her, she did the same too. Once, while escorting her to go back home I eventually dropped her at her house. She followed me back to my house too.

Who will take you back? I asked
You of course, she replied and I did just that.
Who will take you back? she asked
You will. She did take me back

We could not stop laughing at what we did when we sat to recall it. It is one of the memories that stands out because she is still my friend. It's been thirteen years already and still counting.

MY RECENT HAPPY MOMENT

It happened on my birthday tho. I was actually bored on that day. I woke up and prayed to God. I am definitely grateful daily for the gift of life. My parents prayed for me too. I stayed away from school that day, because I didn't want to be bombarded with greetings. I am not used to it.

I went through my social media fb to be precise where I met my friend Davidmark George, posting about a young gentleman who happened to be born the same month and date as I am. I was so glad I had found a birth partner. He has helped me grow in my writing platform where he introduced me and actively engaged me in a steemit platform where one can express their feelings to writing. Imoh Mitchell was one of the recent person that made me happy of recent too🤭🤭. I hope he chuckles when he sees this for being a great friend.

IMPACT OF HAPPY MOMENTS

I would advise and encourage every
individual to do whatever it takes to be happy. It leads to robust health, you rarely get sick, your vibe is being loved by people, they look up to you as a source of positivity especially in parties. A happy man has zero worries in health especially.

HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE

I was once in love with being sad. I noticed people distanced themselves from me, I started having wrinkles on my face, I usually had a sharp pain in my chest each time I get angry. My mental health drained, thereby leading me to see things on the negative side. But, I told myself I can't be sad anymore. I prayed to God, surrounded myself with positive people, I smiled often and got comments like; she can never get angry, I love your smile, you will not age because you are always happy.
I discovered happiness is a choice because you have the right to say no one can make you sad without your permission. I decided to work on myself, focus on me, build me, and always be happy.

HOW TO COPE WITH DIFFICULT TIMES

To ensure you still find moments of happiness when you are in difficult times;
• Get closer to God. There are scriptures which your spirit will lead you to in times of difficulties just to give you comfort.
• Ensure you surround yourself with positive people
• Keep yourself busy to avoid getting sad often
Give yourself a treat and encourage yourself even in difficult times.
• Acquire a skill to drift your mind off it. A skill which you are passionate about.
• Drink lots of water, eat fruits, exercise, and eat healthy foods.

Happiness should be your priority.
Smile daily.
