Hello beautiful steemians, hope you all had a wonderful day?. The day has indeed been a stressful one for me, making this post right now I am on my bed very weak. It should have been like every other day but definitely not! Why? because today happened to have been my Community Development Service day (CDS) a special day set out for corpers during their one year service to the nation to carry out some humanly responsibilities as youth of the Nigeria. So let's all connect to how I spent my day.

Morning

Waking up to my alarm this morning at 4:00pm, I quickly did my morning prayers, after observing my daily manner I pulled out my khaki and white polo from under my pillow as I have slept on it the previous night, please don't laugh, for those of us who know the old traditional way of ironing our clothes, since electricity failed me, I had to adopt it and it worked partially. By 6:30AM I woke my little brother up for a shower and dressed him up for school that was pretty early but I was trying to work with time because, I was expected to be at my local government by 8:00AM for my CDS, As I rushed back to the bathroom I quickly joined an online prayer program HPPR, while listening to it and praying alone I dressed immediately.
This feels less stressful talking about now because it all over for the day. Moving on by the time I got to the local government at Ogudu in Lagos State, it was already 7:58PM, meanwhile I left the house by 7:35AM I Know you might be wondering how? With the whole Lagos traffic for those of us staying here or who have heard about it before,I Know right? Yea my place is not far from the LG and the road was free. When we finished signing in attendance, we all moved to our various CDS groups, I am in "Charity group" in this group as the name implies, we meet the needs of people, visit orphanage homes and streets. so today we decided to visit a home for special kids , we had contributed , and gotten stuffs. We all sat to discuss till it was afternoon.

We had our group discussion on the plans for the day, until it was 12:00PM time for take-off, a big bus was gotten to convey us to the place. On getting to our destination we took pictures of ourselves with the gifts for the children

but we were not allowed to snap the children or video them as visitors, like I said earlier they are special children, but we were given the opportunity to speak to and smile with them because that all they needed. When we were done the foreigner who was the guardian came out to commend us and thank us for coming to see the children with an open heart and with gifts.
Finally we were done, we all headed back to the Local government with one of the official who attended the visitation with us, everyone was stressed out, this lead to the food vendor making a good sales because everyone was hungry. Hungry wee!!
As everyone found their way home, I and my good friend and fellow corp member Yomi I and Yomi.

Evening

Having worked around the whole Lagos, being indecisive about what to get, we decided to head for our various homes. I was shocked when I look at the time and it was already past 5PM, the expression on my family was that of " since morning ehnn" I could not even respond so I went inside the room, pulled off my Khaki and rested for sometime before taking a shower, after that I ate indomie and scrambled eggs, you know what happens after such a meal? You guessed right, sleep of course!!. It is that sleep that I am waking up from now to share with you as a moon night tale on how my day went. Thanks for reading everyone.
