Steemit Engagement Challenge S5/W3 - My Diary Game Entry in Steem4Nigeria: 25/10/22
Hello, dear Steemians;
First of all, I would like to thank the Steem4Nigeria team for this week's topic. Although I would love to participate in engagement challenges, sometimes I find it difficult to find content suitable for the topic. I am happy that this week's topic is a topic everyone can easily participate in.
Since I am on a diet these days, I eat two meals a day. As soon as I get up in the morning, I start the day with a big glass of water. Then, after about half an hour, I have breakfast. Today I didn't have much appetite for breakfast, so I didn't prepare a very elaborate table. I went out and bought a bagel. Bagel is one of my favorite alternatives for breakfast, but I don't prefer it every morning because it is pastry. I made green tea with the bagel and I passed the breakfast in this way.
One of my plans for today was to go to the book fair and since I also wanted to take a walk, I went to the book fair on foot. This way I killed two birds with one stone. So I took a shower, got ready and set off for the Glass Pyramid. The Glass Pyramid is located in the Falez park. You can reach the address of the Glass Pyramid from the link.
While I was in Falez Park, I also had the opportunity to spend time with the cats. One of my favorite features of this park is the Cat House in the park. The Cat House is a very nice place where volunteers feed stray cats and provide a safe environment for them. Many cats live together here. It is surrounded by wires and cats can come and go freely. If you wish, you can bring cat food here and support stray cats. When I was there, the cat house was very quiet, there were only a few kittens.
After going a little further in the park, I reached the Glass Pyramid. The Glass Pyramid is a Fair and Congress center where many fairs take place in Antalya. The reason for my visit was the 12th Antalya Book Fair. This year's fair will be held between October 21-30. Many publishing houses of Turkey will have stands at this fair.
Many famous authors are also signing their books and participating in various panels. I realized that I had missed the book signing of some of my favorite authors because I had not researched beforehand. Unfortunately, there was no author I knew on the day I went. Nevertheless, I had the opportunity to look at a lot of books during the fair. However, I did not buy any books because the prices are more affordable online.
After leaving the fair, the weather was very nice and I didn't want to go home because I had nothing to do. I went to the Sahil Yaşam Park as it was very close to the Glass Pyramid. Here I sat in one of my favorite coffeeshops, Beaver, and had a filter coffee with milk. I haven't been here for a long time and the prices have gone up since I've been here. I paid 41 Turkish Lira for a coffee, which is about 9.33 Steem. I can say that the prices here are a bit higher than the market.
It was getting dark and I hadn't had dinner yet. I didn't want dinner to be too late, so I didn't linger any longer and went home.
I left behind another beautiful day with time for myself.
I invite to this contest my dear friends @enveng, @busraca and @serap
