Before you were introduced to steemit, what digital or physical work did you base your income on?

Before I joined steemit I was just a classroom teacher who earn little money at the end of the month, due to the low salary income in my teaching work I got a side hustle which I was using to substitute the pay, I went into selling of oil perfumes and chemicals for production. Since my house bills was not solely dependent on me the two source of income was manageable.

Have you been a victim of online scams? Is steemit a breakthrough?

Looking at challenges of life and pill up bills to pay I was desperately looking for a way out, on my quest to make ends meet I became a victim of online scam, Yes I am a victim. It started when I saw my friends cashing out and was advertising some sort of invest 10 and get 100 within a week, I didn't believe until I saw them receive alert of their investments. Immediately I showed interest and invested good sum of money, at the peak of receiving my own share I was told the system is undergoing some upgrades. My friends strongly assured me of my money , the upgrade over stayed and I become more worried, guys it was talk of town in my country the Almighty MMM disappeared in tin air. And my money was a story. That was how I was scammed.

Infact my online scam story is plenty but Thank God for steemit.
When my then mentor told about steemit, I didn't want to take her serious until my mind told me to give her listening ears. I want to hear house and asked her to help me become a member and she did without hesitation, that was how I became a steemian and I will forever remain grateful to @chichieze and @goldenekpo for showing me this platform, to be frank steemit is indeed a breakthrough for me.

Do you prefer writing on Steemit for a month in your home to working under someone for a month under duress?

I can work for someone and also write on steemit but working under duress is a No to me, therefore I prefer writing on steemit for a month.
I made this choice because steemit will give me time to do other offline things, I can as well decide my working time which includes when to start , when to write and so on , while under duress work can break me on the way because of much workload.

Has steemit made you a bit independent financially than how you were? If yes or no, how and why? Explain with reasons

Steemit has done me well, I can boost of so many things I have done through my steemit rewards, I'm a very active steemian since I joined till now steemit has become part of me that I cannot do without.

I will say partiallyYes because support is not guaranteed, but I appreciate the little I'm getting from everyone, it has been very helpful to me , I can be proud to tell someone I'm a steemian because there's something I know I have achieved.

I don't depend on anyone for my data subscription, my steemit rewards takes care of it. Unlike before that I will be struggling for free mode,or free WiFi.

My life without steemit would have been as boring as what I don't know, with steemit I'm able to connect and communicate with friends outside my country.
With steemit I now have knowledge making unique and quality content that's is readable to many .

Steemit has also exposed me to crypto world where I can analyze and predict some coins.

Every moment of my life counts just because of steemit. Less I forget about how I have improved in some intercontinental dishes from friends on steemit

My life would be incomplete without steemit, I'm happy to belong here.
