the diary game season 3:Spending my day at home helping mom with some stuffs at the kitchen||29/8/2022

Introduction

Welcome to my blog for today,how are you all doing and I hope all is really working out well for the day.
today I will like to share with you how I spent my day helping mom at the kitchen with some cooking stuffs.hooe you will find it interesting to read through my entry.

Morning

Wow,it's Monday morning and it is the first day of the week.for me I don't usually go to work on Mondays because there is always seat at home order in my state on mondays.

I just woke up safe and sound and also very early in the morning,I said some prayers as usual,after the prayers,it was my turn to sweep the compound and we as kids had been instructed to always do it very early when people haven't wake up,I rushed the broom and first swept the inner side of the house then I came outside.

It was really tough for me because other kids have played on our compound on the previous day and they left many sets there,I used my muscle to do the sweeping and reason is because it was very dirty,after sweeping I rested for sometime because it consumed much of my energy.

I did some of my morning activities like washing the plates and the rest of them and then rested since I was not going to work for the day.

(just finished sweeping the compound)

Afternoon

I knew that today would be very great and that my favorite food would be cooked,after having some rest my mom called me and told me to go and kill the fowl that she would be using to make some stew.i was really happy because I do enjoy killing fowls,I removed some of it's feathers and slaughtered it with a very sharp knife.

After the slaughter,I boiled a very hot water that would be used to pour on it,when the water became very hot,I poured it on the chicken and removed it's feathers entirely.

I was instructed on how to cut them into smaller units because I am not perfect in it,my mom showed me some of the ways to do it and I really learnt it.

After cutting them into smaller units,she took it from me and washed them thoroughly with salt and water for upto three times.
Then she added some ingredients to it and boiled it till it was good for consumption.

she was not going to do the cooking if the stem at that afternoon,so she waited till evening so that she can prepare the stew.

Evening

It's evening,and I needed to power my phone because it was really down and can't serve me this evening,I then decided to go to a barbers shop,st that spot,there were people who came to cut their hair.

He asked me if I wanted to barb my hair but I told him that I just wanted to charge my phone and he said okay,I charged it for some minutes and it was fully charged,I now ran back home because I wanted to look at my mom when she is preparing the stew so that I can learn from her.

luckily for me,she just began the cooking and I was really happy,she asked me to slice and pound the tomato and onions and I did it very well,she then fried the chicken meat that we have already cooked in the afternoon,and then she poured another oil to the pot and I asked her what was this oil for?.She told me that it was for the frying of the stew and I said okay.

she added the onions to the tomato and then she added the tomato and allowed to dry it's water in the oil,when all is done she added other ingredients to it and the meal was done.
I really learnt how to make the stew and also next time I promised her that I will be the one to be cooking for the family.

After we finished eating,I took my bath and then watched some movies on my phone.
