My Diary || Countdown: 29 Hours To The Big Event

Greetings to you all dear steemians in the Steem4Nigeria community and the Steemit blockchain at large. Hope your midweek activities is splendid.

You may be surprise and ask, which big event is taking place again in less that two days from now? Never mind the puzzle, let me remind us once again as the clock keeps ticking almost faster than before as the days draws more nearer.

It is no longer a news that Declare The Good News! 2024 Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses, is billed to take place at the Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo starting from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd of December 2024.

Today being Wednesday 18th December 2024, I am at the stadium to attend the volunteers last meeting, and what I met going on at the stadium is super interesting and awesome.

The team of technical experts have arrived since on Monday with the necessary state of the art facilities and other equipments to fix the stadium with all that is needed to be use for the three days event.

The platform, large screens, heavy sound system, baptismal pools, offices, directions to mention but a few of what my eyes sees! I must say that this event is worth attending.

As people troops in to see things for themselves, some are asking, "where did this people get the money to buy all those states of the art equipments?" Well, if you ask me, I don't know.

Invitations have went out, almost all hotels in Uyo have been booked, and as we speak, delegates from other states have started arriving. Everywhere is just buzzling with activities.

For me, after the talks reminders and questions and answers sessions, we took time to tour round the facility and get proper familiar with the stadium so as to be fit to handle and direct the volume of delegates which will be numbering close to 30,000 or more.

It's such a wonderful, exciting experience of a life time in this part of the country and I am happy that I volunteered!

As the clock ticks to the last hours and minutes, I am hopeful that you have arrange your affairs to be live and direct in attendance, please do not wait to be told the happenings, be there!
