The Diary Game : The Most Stressful day of the Week || 5th of February,2025 ||
There's this particular day in everyone's life that is usually most stressful, mine happened to be yesterday being Wednesday, 5th of February,2025. I was extremely stressed, worn-out and exhausted has seen in the picture below 👇 👇 👇.
Feeling exhausted at this point
Guess..! you may be wondering why this happens, yes I want to say managing house chores can make one extremely stressed especially when it has to do with buying stuff in the market and preparing them at the same time.
Early morning has I woke up I had already planned my day before I went to bed,so I had in mind to visit the market and prepare food,so as I woke up I observed a short prayer before stepping outside to do some morning chores like sweeping the compound, after that I had my bath and move to the market to buy soup ingredients
Here in the market buying food items
Ladies or mother's can attest how stressful it is when it comes to buying food stuffs in the market exception of people who only just stand one place and buy all their food stuff,to me I moved round the market compare price and look for quality and wholesome food stuffs, not all food stuffs are wholesome some might be left open for flies to stick on it whereas some might kept for numbers of days without selling and may go rancid which is not healthy, I ensure that I buy good and wholesome food stuff before heading back home.
I got to the house in the afternoon exhausted, but since I couldn't find help I had to prepare all the food stuff I bought and cook them. Oh men, I couldn't snapped steps by step, just sum up everything since I was tired.
I cooked Afang soup, but before then, I plugged all the leaves including water leaves in the farm that's why I felt the way I did, after plugging I washed and sliced the Afang before pounding

This is how I properly pounded the Ukazi leave/Afang.
After pounding,it was time to Cook,so I had already prepared my soup items and steam them properly what I needed to do next was to allow my steamed pot on fire add Palm oil and allow it to boil very well before adding water leaves, Maggi, crayfish and then allow it to boil again before finally pouring properly pounded Afang/Ukazi leave inside and stir it for a while then check whether Palm oil and salt is enough,if not you added them soup is ready.
Soup is ready bring your preferred swallow here 👇👇👇

My own portion of soup with plenty obstacle very special, I can't afford to cheat myself after going through such stress.
I finished everything in the evening, which after eating I had my bath and rested for the day.
That was how my day 5/02/2025 went, although it was stressful, I was able to manage my chores successfully.

MODs Comment/Recommendation:
Buying things sometimes is stressful, I can relate, I like the neatness of this market where is it located? I heard pounding Afang is better than grinding it in the machine how true is this ascension dear @nsisong2022.

@okere-blessing
This is itam market.
When we talk about the difference between pounding and grinding Afang I feel there's no much difference, but what I can relate is that grinding Afang with engine easily get rancid if not cooked immediately or refrigerate after grinding but pounding can stay overnight without going off , another thing I was told about pounding is that it thicken soup more than grinding 😆😆😆, but both are still ok, although grinding serves time 🤓🤓🤓
