Dear Diary,

A unique part of my day is what I am about to share, and this moment drove me to the end of this day. I woke with the full knowledge of my departure. It was time to go back to school, when I keep using the word, Go back. My home is very close to school, so visiting is not a problem. I went back home to finalise and get my parents some feedback on certain errands I was sent to do in town. I didn't spend as much time as I should at home because the information I got was relayed to my parents, and the previous day's break was so soon.

I wanted to leave home so I began my preparation. The first thing I did was to check my farm for harvest. I almost forgot, but my junior sister, who is also returning to secondary school, reminded me that Mum told me to detach some part from the banana while it was still in its stand.

I don't know if you understand what I mean, but looking at the picture above will make you understand.

I am not aerophobic, so climbing the ladder for detaching this bunch was not a problem. I detached about 2 segments from the main bunch; my junior sister was there to tell me if it was enough; she didn't need much because she was going to keep it to ripe before she eats it. It is advisable to take off your clothing or wear a rag/sack cloth when dealing with suckers because a stain on your special apparel may not cleanse for a long time or remain permanent. This particular incident reminds me of what it means to heed instructions; Mom told me some time ago to plant this sucker, and though I felt reluctant, I eventually planted this sucker, and today, it has yielded a big bunch of bananas with other baby suckers with bunches in it.

Trying to understand the documents

We waited for the hospital driver to come back. At this instance, I remembered that I hadn't unplugged my power bank and charger from the hospital, so I rushed down, and immediately the driver came and decided to charge his phone for a while. During that time, dad used that opportunity to share with me the progress he made in the collection of different plots, and the lawyer signed and approved the agreement. I am just hearing this; it sounds strange, but it is good news.

Let's go on a rideIMG_20241104_151513_992.jpg

The driver walked into my dad's office and we took our move. I sat on the front seat as he drove me to the house where my sister put her belongings in the car trunk, and I put my plantain too. My bag was actually with me, so it was on the back seat. We moved, and we met a lot of students.

It has been a long time since I toured the city of Uyo, specifically the road that leads to my sister's school, and to think of it, this is the first time I am visiting her new school. If I begin to explore this city, you will understand how beautiful it is. Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, is the most serene and well-furnished city so far. I love this state; our landmarks are big, and we have one of the best roads so far. The administration has done well in terms of providing a way for the importation and exportation of goods.

Our journey continued and I took pictures of most places. Finally, I arrived at my sister's school, and then I took her box out of the trunk and dropped her off in the hostel. She came back. I am glad baby Sis is maturing; she doesn't cry anymore. Of course, she is a big girl in SS2. Why should she cry? Nigerian schools don't permit the girls to plait hair so that different styles won't be displayed, so the girls are given low cuts. I was later dropped off at Uyo Plaza, and then I paid transport down to where I reside as a university student.
