Greetings everyone,
I hope you are all well. Today I am participating in the "Accelerator Contest Week 72: How I Handle Pressure" contest organized by Steem4Nigeria.
What do you understand by Pressure
The contest is actually about pressure. But we can actually define the word pressure in several ways. Pressure is also the change in blood pressure in the body. This occurs as low blood pressure and high blood pressure. However, today we are going to talk about mental stress. This is what from contest is expected to talk about. Just by saying pressure, everyone immediately remind of mental stress. The cover image of the contest also makes it clear what is being asked.
So from now on, I will use the word stress instead of pressure. Stress is a state of mental uncomfortable situation that can occur to any person at any time in life due to worries, challenges, dangers, heartaches, losses, or loneliness. This is usually felt by the body as a headache. The headache that occurs here is different from a normal headache. It is a headache that is quite severe and unbearable.
This mental stress is not a good thing. If it continues, it can lead to mental illnesses like depression and mania.
Have you been under pressure before? If yes, How do you handle it.
Absolutely yes. I had suffered from mental stress not just once but on many occasions. It is no secret that not only me but every human being has suffered from this mental stress at some point in their life. Perhaps you, who are reading this article of mine, may also be suffering from mental stress at this time.
I had been suffering from mental stress mostly due to heartaches and exam anxiety. This mental stress occurs when I constantly think about things that I cannot bear and feel sad. And I get unbearable headaches during such times. Also, mental stress occurs because I get very nervous while preparing for an exam.
I also think that the main reason why many people in today's society experience mental stress is that they are busy. People are very busy because of their jobs. So, lack of freedom can lead to diseases like mental stress.
When I feel stressed like this, I stop what I'm doing and focus on something else. I start making crafts. Then if there's a problem, I forget about it at that moment. Also I listen to my favorite songs. Or I take a couple of paracetamols for a headache and get some sleep, and that too reduces the stress.
How do you view Pressure, do you see it as something that happens to Mar or Makes you?
I think there is some ambiguity in this question, that is, a spelling mistake. Therefore, there is a lack of understanding of the question. But I have decided to answer it as I understand the question. As I mentioned above, I see this stress as a headache in the head. It is very stressful and it also affects the mind and body a lot. So this is what happens when we think about it in such problematic situations. Then our mind gets tired and we are also affected by it.
Mental stress can greatly affect a person's daily life. Because when this happens, you can't eat properly, you can't sleep at night, you don't feel like doing anything, and many other problems arise. So, mental stress makes a person weak and mentally ill.
What would be your advice to those (i.e job applicant) who are quick to state that they can work under pressure.
My advice for this is that you can't do any work under pressure. So first you should be free from pressure. Because it is not good for our physical well-being. Otherwise, it would be good if people who say they can work under pressure get a monthly checkup to know about their physical well-being. You can do the work anytime. First of all, you should be healthy. When I say this, some people may think that how can they postpone an important work. Yes, that is not possible to do. We should manage it properly. No matter what you do, the best thing is to keep the mind happy and free. Otherwise, there is a lot of chance of failure in the work done under pressure.
If you are under any stress, first you should free your mind from that stress. For this, you should tell your friends or family member about your problem and get their advice and help to reduce the stress. When the stress is reduced, you can do the work that you have to do well later.

En varias ocasiones cuando he estado reflexionando sobre la presión pienso que, me encantaría vivir en décadas pasadas, porque en ese momento el estilo de vida era más relajado al que conocemos actualmente y, aunque no podemos actuar como en esas décadas, si pienso que podemos aprender a gestionar la presión para prevenir que las situaciones complejas se nos salgan de las manos.

It was nice reading from your blog on how to handle pressure , you actually said it right pressure can comes in several ways and sometimes it can be from exams.
You know being a student there's always a particular course you aren't really good at and sometimes you may be contemplating whether you'll pass the course so this is where the pressure comes in
Yes, you're right. I think a little too much. That's why I feel a lot of pressure at times.
