StayFit Club: Highlights of My fitness activities for the Week Ending 26th May, 2024. Full body training
Hello dear friends and my fellow fitness lovers, I warmly welcome you all to yet another interesting update of my fitness adventure for which took place last week. It was a wonderful week as that was the week where we had our outdoor/monthly meeting of the club.
The programs for the week was for full body. This means that we had to work out our whole body for the week. Previously, we had been concentrating on certain parts of the body, but this time around, I decided that we were going to do it differently.
Full body workout
This type of program targets multiple muscles that helps one to boost the cardiovascular endurance and increase heart rate. It is also good for mental health. It helps to train all muscle groups in a single workout.
This, we took to different programs that helps to target all muscle groups which includes
Squats, deadlifts, lunges, Crunches, pushups, Arm curls, Knee pushup and many more. We also combined aerobics to it for maximum results.
Hence, for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, we went hard to be able to achieve our target.
We considered the early birds too and so we tried to be early in each of those days.
The pictures below were taken on Monday. I trained them in batches due to the early birds. As members come, they start their own programs from where others started. Though the programs for those who came later were much more as they had more time to exercise

We continued on Wednesday with more programs but it rained cat and dog that day, thereby discouraging most members from coming out. We had only 7 members and limiting the programs we could have undertaken. But in any case, we were able to do some programs

On Friday, we began again with our full programs starting very early as planned and the weather was good. We hard the highest turnout unlike other days.

On Saturday, we took to running and walking round the field. We ran 6 times and walked 2 times.
Then we started with aerobics and later we had our end of the month meeting.

During our meeting, we discussed the way forward of the club, appointed members to the vacant positions, read the draft of our bylaws, and other matters that arise were trashed too.
We had 2 of our members who gave us a treat. One had his wife delivered of a baby girl and the other was grateful for the way we supported him during his occasion. It was awesome 👍!
To be frank, we are seriously getting things together to become a world class fitness group. The future is truly bright.

The pictures above were taken during the meeting. We later proceeded to the AGMAG hotel for swimming. Members paid three thousand naira for this event that covered their swimming, transportation and little refreshments. we all enjoyed that moment and we hope to have it again and again. However, as our meeting revealed, it might likely not be monthly swimming but quarterly or so. We will like to introduce other things on that last Saturday to thrill everyone. My sporting business
I have ordered some skipping ropes and hand gloves including swimming goggles for sale. These things were supposed to arrive even before our swimming day but I was disappointed by the driver.
However, they will still be sold.

Expectations for the coming June
We have almost ended this morning May. And it was great! We recorded successes. We had more new members, 5 of them that got registered including @kidi40. We couldn't buy any new equipment except the cones that I bought for our use and my tummy trimmer.
But come this June, we will surely get new equipments especially dumbbells. Our project team is seriously working towards that.
We will also print more banners and fliers for distributions while the banners will be placed at strategic locations to attract more and people.
The point is that, we are making progress. What started as a play is growing into something serious. I am grateful to all the steemians who are with us and are joining us from that club. In fact, the club is turning to a promotional ground for Steemit newbies. More will still join us.
